I was reading on this type of nose job called a nose threading rhinoplasty and it basically is what it sounds like; they use medical needle and string to enhance the height of the nose bridge and projection of the nose tip. The needle is inserted through the nose tip and so it leaves a permanent scar on the nose tip that looks like a large beauty mark or freckle.

Immediately, i thought of several kpop idols who i remembered having this exact type of freckle/beauty mark on their nose . Jennie was the main one i thought of; she has always had speculation of a nose job and I can tell she has had one just from before and after photos but was always curious as to the kind she had done because she doesn’t have the typical tell-tale shape of an average rhinoplasty (especially the kind done in South Korea). I now believe she and other idols with this nose tip “freckle” probably have had a nose threading rhinoplasty.

Second pic is Mingyu and he said in a live that he just woke up one day and randomly discovered this large black dot on his nose tip and the stans ate it up. Be so serious rn 😭 he got a thread nose job 100% and then made this comment to avoid fans asking why he has the mark on his nose tip. Jennie probably the same lmaooo 🤣
