We recently bought a wooden bookcase, but the floor is not even where we want to stand it. I bought these wooden levelling wedges and now the bookcase is squared off and stable.
But, we obviously don't want to keep these wedges there forever. My initial idea was to glue the wedges together and then cut them to the shape of the bookcase feet but I'm not sure how to do that with them in place? Maybe there is a better way?
I have looked online and we have tried a couple of places but we are struggling to find a good place for a Scottish breakfast around Byres Road.
I have Fr*nch family visiting soon and they requested a Scottish breakfast which I do not want to cook at home. They will have a small child, so we can travel some distance but would rather not be trekking very far.
We have been to the Fonn Mor once with a friend and that was OK but a bit sad, they also only start serving at 11am! With the same family members we went to Serendipity West and literally nobody liked the food. Ravello cafe are good for morning rolls but they don't do a cooked breakfast afaik and last time we were there we got shit on by a seagull.
Any ideas or recommendations?
