CV Joint

Hey everyone, looking for some advice or to see if anyone else with a Honda Prologue has dealt with this.

My Prologue makes a noticeable clicking/popping noise coming from the front axle area, but only when driving at slow speeds with the steering wheel turned all the way to the left.
I took it into Leith Honda to get it addressed, assuming it's a CV joint/axle issue. However, the service department refused to fix or replace it. They claimed this is "common" and normal for the Honda Prologue, and the staff member even told me that if I took it to another dealership, they would just tell me the exact same thing.
Has anyone else experienced this specific issue with their Prologue?

At this point, I'm not sure what the best next step is:

  1. Should I just keep driving it safely until the noise gets worse or fails completely?
  2. Or should I ignore what Leith Honda said and take it to another Honda dealership for a second opinion?

Would appreciate any insight or advice from other owners or technicians!

Bz4X 2024 AWD

I need some advice. Right now I have a 2025 Toyota RAV4 LE and my commute is around 30–40 miles round trip every day. I’ve been thinking about getting a used 2024 Toyota bZ4X with around 14k miles for about $24k because I’m getting tired of gas prices.

I’m trying to figure out if it’s worth it, and whether leasing or financing would make more sense if I plan to keep the car for 5+ years. Another option I’m considering is a Toyota RAV4 Hybrid LE, but those are pretty expensive too.

What would you guys recommend?
