The prologues drive amazing. My one hesitation is how you park it at Tesla superchargers needing to take up two spots. Is this really a big deal or get other people mad at superchargers or am I looking into this too much?
My current lease is up this month. I’ve looked at all the EVs. I don’t like the Hyundai or the Kia. I love the Rivian R2, the Volvo EX 60 and the BMW iX3., but their lease deals border on financial insanity. I’ve settled on the Prologue and the Cadillac Optiq. There are some great deals on the Prologue. Not so much on the Optiq, but it’s not as crazy as the others I mentioned. I like the Optiq better. It’s more refined, the screen is amazing. SuperCruise is a nice addition and I worry about the Prologue not getting as much support since it’s being discontinued (Service and Parts, etc.). That being said, I would be happy with either. I have a couple of questions:
Are my concerns about the Prologue overblown. What experience have Prologue owners had?
how much more would you pay per month for the Optiq. Ive gotten quotes for under 500 for Elite trim with minimal due at signing (and i think there is more room). The initial offer on the Optiq Premium Sport is over 800 for same terms, but they have told me to make them an offer. I cannot justify paying that much more for the Optiq even given my above issues. So what should I offer. In your opinion what’s a reasonable premium for the Optiq?
I have flexibility because I can share my wife’s car for a month or two. I’m tempted to do that to get better deals, but I worry about the inventory of the Prologues running out. Should I be concerned?
Just trying to figure out what to do. I’m truly fine in either vehicle. But I’m coming from an Audi and would love the luxury of the Caddy.

I'm taking a serious look at several 2024 Honda Prologue Touring FWDs, and I came across a dealer nearby that's almost exclusively selling dealer buybacks that they bought from Honda at auction, after some repairs were done.
I'd like to hear what anyone who's bought some of these has to say about them, and I'm curious what the issues they're being recalled for, are, if anyone knows.
I’m thinking about ending my lease, 2024 Prologue Touring FWD with 34k/45k miles available and 9 payments remaining @$540/mo.
Is it exactly your remaining payments plus the $350 fee? Some of the numbers posted on here don’t quite add up seems like Honda is waiving a bit occasionally. Any advice or is there a process to “escalate” for some sort of discount on termination?
I’ve had the axle issue the entire time and Honda corporate closed my case saying engineering states there’s no resolution and a buyback/settlement is denied. So just thinking of termination now.
Im looking to lease a Prologue for the 2 or 3 years in Northern California. Any trim is fine with me. Anyone got a deal recently?
Does it come with the mobile charger and the 48 AMP charger?
Did the 48 amp charger come from Dealer or Honda Home Electrification? Can I only get the 48 amp charger without using HHE?
I'm trying to figure things out before I buy.

Edit: I'm in California. SCE customer. I already have a Tesla Mobile Charger, hooked up to a 32 AMP breaker. But with Tesla we can lower the AMPs to not stress the system. There is no way to lower the AMP intake on the Prologue so now I finally need to invest in a proper charger and install. My home was built in 1968 and only has 100 AMPs. We don't need super fast home charging and typically don't do much driving. But my house does need an electrical overhaul.
Welp, we got the letter for the HVAC issue (25 Elite). Wife made the appointment and dropped it off this afternoon.
Since she hadn't heard back from them, she gave them a call.
They hit an issue and the car "forgot its identity" is how they put it. sigh
Should I start a bet on Kalshi for how long it'll take them to unbrick it?
Kicker is they claimed to not have any loaners, so we'll have to put the pressure on them Monday to get one.

Everything (Re)Link shows comes from Honda's servers. That means OnStar, a Honda account, and only the snapshots Honda chooses to share: no trip history, no per-trip efficiency, no charging curves. So I stopped asking Honda's cloud and went to the source, the car itself.
wattata has a companion app in the car, from the Google Play Store. It reads the vehicle data as you drive and charge, and sends it to your iPhone in real time over Bluetooth. There's no account, no OnStar required, and everything is computed on the device.
wattata does not replace (Re)Link. (Re)Link gives you remote status and commands from anywhere. wattata gives you the detail of every trip and charge when you're near the car. Many people will want both.

Hi Prologue Community! It greatly annoys me that when the Prologue is turned on and you open the door the car beeps incessantly. Does anyone know how to turn this off?
Before my 2025 Prologue, I have only ever owned ICE Hondas. None of those Hondas ever beeped when the car was on and the door was open. They only beeped when the car was off, door was open, and keys were still in the ignition. This is the only car I've ever owned that I actually want to have the door open while the car is on.
I'm very hopeful that there is a setting I'm missing that will turn this beeping off. And I would be forever grateful is someone could tell me how to do that! I've looked through all the settings in the menu and generally read through the owners manual, but don't know how to change this setting.

This is a '25 Elite and ever since I've had it I've always thought the door was way harder to open compared to my wife's Bolt EUV. I had to press it in just the right spot. Well, today it wouldn't open at all, and I had to pry it with a screwdriver. I found the latch broken like this.
It's a lease so I'm going to take it to the dealer, but I was just curious if this has happened to anyone else?

Also is it even worth getting that car even if it’s discontinued?
I've had the prologue for 4 days. The rear AC vents aren't blowing any air. I checked and made sure that the vents were open and nothing. I have air coming out the front vents. They were working previously.
My RZ lease is almost up and I’m not planning to buy it. The Prologue lease deals are really tempting. For anyone who’s had both, how much would I miss the Lexus quality if I switched to a Prologue? Does it feel like a big downgrade in ride, comfort, quietness, or interior quality? Would love to hear from anyone who’s made the switch.
In the maps app now when you say the name of a location (for example the name of a restaurant) It tells you a bunch of info about the restaurant instead of just giving you a map destination. Or if there are multiple locations, say for example Costco. It will set a destination to a location that is too far away instead of just bringing up a list of locations on a map like it used to.
Anyone else fed up with this downgrade? I want my map app to give me map locations. Not ramble on for 60 seconds about info about the location I ask about...
The X5 is nice in ways but we miss a pure EV. The X5 has a very split personality. Bad electric/gas blend, menus from hell, but awesome seats. The prologue is what I'd expect. Nowhere near as quick, much more basic in most ways, and the axle thing gives me a twitch, but it's a real EV. Bigger back seat, smaller cargo. No air suspension or towing. None of the 43mile range pain after which climate won't work without firing up the engine, so not at all if away from the car. Prologue has a basic audio system, but then I've rarely cranked up the HK system. Oldness strikes. Trying to get ok with the trade down. Getting $54k, paying 30k for 2024 elite cpo with 20k miles. Thoughts? Talk me down from this ledge!
I recently made a post about the fin being missing. Thank you to everyone who identified the part and asked me if I had recently been through a car wash, looks like my girlfriend did go through the car wash on Oct 2nd.
I was able to recover the part, but all the clips that hold it in place are damaged. The car wash claims that they cover any parts on cars newer than 5 years old, so I have started a claim with them. In the mean time what should I do? I bought automative grade sealant, but I’m hesitant to use it seeing there is slight signs of corrosion on the motherboard already. We are planning to bring it to a Honda dealer tomorrow to get it repaired if they happen to have replacement parts. What should I do in the time between to block out water and dirt from making it even worse? Should I just put the sealant on it? I’m worried it may cause an even bigger problem when I take it to the dealership.
I know leaving it off is also an option but I’m worried that water can leak into the interior as well.
Currently cross shopping for my 1st EV. On a Prologue/ Ariya/Ioniq 5/Mach-e kick (Mach-e is last, they seem a bit pricey).
I’ve only test driven a 2026 bZ, the instant torque changed my brain chemistry. I like the space and looks of the prologue, but, without even driving it, it’s in my mind it doesn’t have the “get up and go” that I’m not craving. I don’t need GT, Tesla performance fast, but I want to know I can push the pedal and it moves.

Has anyone else had this issue? Google maps seems to think I've left the route and need to be rerouted. This happened constantly for hours this weekend.
It doesn't show upcoming turns (other than looking at where the blue line is going).
2025 Touring, about 6K miles. Recently noticed a sound coming from the rear on bumps, hard to describe. Sounds like something is loose toward the back. After some troubleshooting I think it might be the hatch struts, rattling a bit whilst driving. Anyone have similar sounds or found the source? If you grab your struts while the hatch is open, do they wiggle left to right?
I desperately need to charge but my charging plug is outside, and it’s raining. The plug itself is housed in a box so it cannot get wet, but the cord would get wet and the plug to my car. I’m assuming I can’t charge, but has anyone ever had to charge in the rain with the portable charger? Could I cover it with a tarp?
