new to windows gaming handhelds - beginner's tips?

So I've never had a Windows handheld, frankly haven't had a windows PC since I was a kid, and decided to go all in. Got the EX AI+... Yeah, poor me, I know.

Anyway, I'm a bit lost on how to even do basic tweaks to make sure I'm taking full advantage of the power of this thing.

Right now, I'm playing Persona 5 Royal, Kingdom Come Deliverance II and some lightweight games (e.g. addicted to Ball x Pit, Vampire Crawlers).

It's not clear to me if I should be mostly toggling between the AI/Endurance mode for the heavy (e.g. Kingdome Come) and lightweight (eg Ball x Pit) games, or if I should be doing more somewhere else (i.e. in the Intel app?).

Also, I just "took" everything the system was set up with - basically just did all the updates the system would let me do, and installed steam.

Any tips for a total newbie would be greatly appreciated! Even hard to understand if I should take Xbox on its offer to re-boot in xbox mode for better performance - is that only for xbox gamepass games or will that also help with steam? After I do, am I in that "mode" till I shut down?

Speaking of shutting down... I can't just like sleep this baby in the middle of a game (reliably) as I do with Switch 2 or steam deck, right?

New Weekly Local Photo Challenge Westchester Meetup Group

Hi folks! Wanted to call out a new Meetup group for anyone in Westchester who likes to take photos and wants to make some new friends! Here's some info about it - Interested people can hop on a virtual call this Thursy at lunchtime for a quick planning chat. Please join if you can!

I got this idea in a different conversation here about ideas on how to make friends as an adult. If this is something that resonates with you and you'd like to join - feel free to do so!

Also, I'm open to suggestions here on Reddit if you have thoughts on the idea, the group name, description etc. I want this to be a community run group! Totally free for everyone to participate, by the way!

https://www.meetup.com/westchester-picture-this/

Description:

Westchester Picture This: every week, a new photographic challenge. A theme, a constraint, a creative dare — your mission is to go capture the best shot you can!

Then we get together to share what we made, talk through the images, and vote on a favorite.

Each week, the winner sets the next week's challenge. So the group keeps reinventing itself, and everyone gets a chance to inspire!

Who it's for: Anyone in Westchester who likes making pictures. Phone or full-frame, first-timer or seasoned shooter, the challenge is the great equalizer. The point is to look at the world creatively, to grow and have fun, not to out-gear anyone.

How we meet: About three times a month online (quick, casual share-and-vote sessions) and once a month in person around Westchester. We can take a photo walk, set up a shoot, meet for a coffee or beer — so we actually get to know the people behind the photos.

No jury, no entry fee, no pressure. Just a recurring nudge to pick up your camera and see your corner of the world a little differently and share your perspective with some new friends.

Should i not get RX350 in nightfall mica? I’m a low maintenance car guy.

Hi all. I think I have a pretty good deal and rapport with the manager of my Lexus dealer, and there’s an opportunity for me to get into a L/certified 2024 RX350H in a way that is affordable for me.

The color is nightfall mica - and I live in an apartment building where I park outside. I’ve never been one to care too much about the dirt etc, on my car - I’m in my late 40s and I dont think I’ve done a car wash more than a couple times ever. But I usually get grey/silver or white cars…

Am I going to regret this color? Seems like on some forums people make it seem like it’s going to look HORRENDOUS if you dont coat with ceramic and garage it and hand wash it like every day. Is there anyone out there who has this color and just lets it live outside and get “washed” when it rains and it’s actually OK if you’re not super uptight about it?

Thanks for your feedback!
