Cruise advice for celiac and mom

Hello!
I just got off my first cruise and I loved it (Margaritaville at sea islander, going to Key West and the western Caribbean). My mom’s always dreamed of going on an Alaskan cruise, so now that I know I like cruises, I want to take my mom on her dream Alaskan cruise. I was looking at Princess, Holland America, NCL, MSC, and Virgin Voyages. My mom would prefer a smaller ship, or at least quieter. I am a celiac, and would need something with good gluten free options. I’ve been told that most cruise lines are pretty good about it, so I’m not super concerned! What cruise line would you say is a good mix of not overwhelming, but has good food options (one thing I am concerned about is lunch options, I do not feel safe eating buffets due to cross contamination risks). We would like a good mix of port and glacier viewing, so I think Princess and Holland might have the edge there?

New to knitting, super excited and trying to make a seed stitch scarf

Hello!
I got into knitting recently. I got familiar with the stitches with one bundle of yarn, but this is my first actual project. I'm mostly just really excited cuz it's turning out better than I expected! I want to knit some scarves for my friends and family for Christmas! I mostly knit during my commute (I take a ferry to work!)

Hotels near Tampa bay

Hello!
This is my first cruise, and I’ll be cruising on Margaritaville at sea with a group of friends. We’ll be sailing out of Tampa bay. I’m going to arrive a couple days early so I can chill in Tampa, but I want to be walking distance to the terminal. I’d prefer to walk if possible! I’m also open to taking public transit. I saw a couple options (mint house, home2 and Hampton). I’ll be flying in so I’m looking for somewhere easy to get from the airport but easy to get to the cruises. I did a search before asking and it looks like home2 and Hampton should fit the bill. Are there any others I should look at? I’ve been reading that the terminals get kind of crazy for embarking so I would like to avoid traffic if possible.

I’ve been on zepbound for almost two years, and for the past 8 months I’ve been struggling on 12.5mg because I got a little wrapped up in diet culture. My weight loss had “slowed” and I was chasing the weight loss so even though I had issues with appetite, surprising side effects, etc, I ignored it and kept pushing on. Surprisingly, my doctor mentioned going down a dose when she found out the extent of how difficult it’s been to eat. I thought about it, and after another hard week, I decided to drop down. I’m doing the vials, so I can control my dose. It’s been a couple days on 10mg, and the difference is so nice. I don’t have hunger pangs, but it’s much easier to eat. I think about food more, and I don’t get the ick at the thought of eating. I’m so much happier and relieved by this. Maybe this is just a brain dump, but I’m glad I made the right decision for my body! Also, I’m glad I pivoted away from weight loss at any cost mindset. I had worked so hard on body neutrality and taking care of myself. I hate that I got wrapped up in it again!

Hi!

I’ve been on zepbound since June 2024. My reasons for going on the medication are complex, as I’m sure everyone on this forum understands similarly. I’ve been increasing dose, but when I got to 10mg/0.5ml I had issues with too much appetite suppression. After some time, it got better and I went up to 12.5. After 8 months, my symptoms are not getting better. I’ve asked to go back down to at least 10mg, but I actually asked to go down to 7.5 (last dose where I didn’t struggle with too much appetite suppression). Has anyone gone down multiple doses? What has your experience been with that?
