Grand Canyon river trip

Hello! Is there a guided tour of the Grand Canyon that involves hiking/camping and the non motorized river rafting? Is rafting there dangerous for someone who can’t swim?
3 to 5 days. Thanks !

Son and father 4 - 5 days adventure

My son is turning 18, and my husband would like to take him on a guys-only trip — preferably something organized and guided by a Christian organization, with special ministry activities, devotionals, etc.

Is anyone familiar with anything like that? I found Canyon Ministries, and they offer river trips through the Grand Canyon, but I’d love to hear about more options. Thanks!

I had been working as an MLO for the past two years with the same brokerage, and I’ve always appreciated the team and support. Since the company was acquired, I’ve noticed some changes, and I’d like to better understand whether these are standard in the industry or specific to our current structure.

It seems that more responsibilities are being shifted to LOs, while some tasks traditionally handled by processors and underwriting are now falling on us. I wanted to get your perspective on a few points:

- The processing fee is currently $995—would you consider this typical in today’s market?

The compensation structure is 2.75% total, with 1.25% going to the MLO. How competitive is this?

In situations where pricing needs to be reduced, the MLO is expected to reduce their compensation first (up to 0.50%) before requesting a company concession. Is this standard practice?

There is no employer 401(k) contribution—how common is this across similar companies?

Files are required to be submitted with the Fannie/Freddie income calculator worksheet, or they are returned to the LO. Is this a typical expectation?

Response times from internal departments have been delayed, sometimes taking several days. How does this compare to industry norms?

Thank you!
