and has anyone been able to use the 2 for 1 VOX Cinema tickets on their FAB credit cards? they always advertise it but i've never been able to use it whenever i check out on VOX online

as someone who's kinda obsessed with autumn foliage...

if i go to kyoto again:

• i've seen peak autumn here and know the spots, know where i want to go, can navigate the crowds a bit easier
• can predict the peak better than other japan prefectures

if i go for tohoku:

• uncharted territories, more exciting in a way
• a bit more expensive and hassle since it's far from the airport, will have to travel north immediately upon landing in narita
• have to book several accommodations and will stress out on carrying luggage

so my plan if ever i'll go for tohoku is to stay for around 4 nights and hopefully see foliage in the towada-hachimantai national park, then nikko for around 2 days, then tokyo for some dining and shopping

for those who have been to tohoku during fall, how's the weather and transportation? since the spots i want to visit are far apart, i expect to visit only about 2 places per day. and i don't drive, so renting a car is not an option for me
