I frequently see coworking posts but not much real drive after the initial post so I will be coworking at the wombat cafe in werksviertel this Tuesday and perhaps would treat myself to a bit of Karaoke after work (cz if you Asian you know). Would be there by about 2pm ish. I can speak a number of languages so come one come all but I would like to practice my German and French.
I've been applying to jobs like crazy because my visa is expiring and this market is broken. Out of hundreds of applications, I've gotten a handful of interviews that went nowhere.
Just received an interview at invite at 10pm at night which I thought no biggie because it's the first interview - until I read the email. A full Loom video, explaining a complex and broad topic, along with why I want to work for them. Edited to perfection and to be submitted within 48 hours. And somehow I shouldn't be reading off a script and I better make sure I ELI5. Of course no time limit was provided. What happened to a normal intro call?
For some reason, I Google searched the first topic (Out of a list of 5, all equally nebulous) and the first result is a 5000 word medium article explaining literally all of the questions on the list they provided. Not sure if that's a smart person who turned their interview into a blog for their own portfolio or the company is taking credit for applicants' work. Should I proceed with this at all?
