Hey guys! im sorry for the stupid question but I know tims are in US sizing and I’m a uk9 (women’) so these should be the direct equivalent. however I have no clue if these are women’s or men’s 😭😭

for context - i got a band tee from simple plan of their album 'no pads, no helmets, just balls' (it says this slogan on the back) and a christian friend of mine said that it was offensive and a swear.
ive struggled with profanity in the past and have mostly gotten over that sin, only letting one slip every once in a while on accident and repenting for it.

I bought these timberlands second hand and they’re a size 9W so I PRESUMED they were a UK size 9 in women’s.
except now I’m hearing all of their sizes are in US sizing, and they do fit a wee bit tight.
my feet aren’t even that big but a UK9 in women’s is a US11, which is the biggest female timberland shoe they do. do i really need to get the biggest size? or should I just size up by one?

after putting them on they feel tight at the front but loose at the back (probably because I like having the tongue flopped down).
is this normal and I just have to break them in to stop the pain lmao?
