i've been a loyal customer at urban outfitters for years now, i always shop there with no issues and have never faced issues with customer service, etc. other than one specific instance where I received a top with the security tag on it but I couldn't go in store for it because the closest urban is 1 hour away (I only shop online). They told me they would send me an exchange but then told me a week later when I ASKED that the item is sold out and the exchange will not be coming so to just ignore the emails because it'll fix itself under my account. Then, I got an email a few months later when I placed my first order at free people account has been restricted because I never returned a top that I requested an exchange for so I kept two for the price of one technically. I spoke to customer service and they said they'll fix it. Now, I just tried again and my order won't go through so I called customer service and they told me that my order isnt going through because of a restriction and I have to wait 1-3 business days.... but the top i want is almost sold out. like what?!?! im so angry right now, I can't even create a new account because it will track it down as the same one. What do I even do?

Urban has the cutest comforters but the reviews in the app are always so terrible which isn’t promising☹️ Has anyone gotten there comforters and how was the quality? Also does anyone recommend any other sites that have cute comforter/duvets that are worth your money? Thanks!

So I applied for urban behaviours on indeed . Got an indeed msg that I am to attend the job fair at chinook mall. Went there filled three forms 1. Personal details 2. Availability 3. Employment reference form . In the personal detail form , there was a column for sin number since I didn’t have it with there , I asked to provide it in further hiring process . I get a call about job , telling that the minimum wage is 15 dollar per hour . And not the job location and position . And they ask me to send them personal information through email . Since I was In dire need of job , I provided if . But when I told my sis , she told me it could be a scam and the information related text I got was through a email on text not from phone number . I am now stressed although I called the girl ( the one who called for hiring) about the position , location and why she didn’t texted from company’s officials mail . And she told me the store’s are yet to open and they don’t have store official number and email . And I should be calm as it is not a scam and that she is contacting every client through her personal channel .
Is this how urban outfitters hire ?
Am I being paranoid
What should I do
She told me to wait and I will get a official hiring email in 2 weeks
I don’t know what to do

So I have the opportunity to stay at Anthropologie as a sales associate or go to Urban Outfitters as a keyholder. The keyholder title is tempting, but it is with my old UO management, which was unreliable, and honestly made me question whether it was worth it. At Anthro I feel respected and like an actual part of the team. It’s tempting because I loved being a keyholder but I love my sanity more. If you’ve worked at both, which would you choose and why?

And when does it start?

I literally have been so upset about this and it’s been festering for a while.

I am personally poor white trash living in a nicer neighborhood. I am constantly thinking about the food I want to eat but can’t afford. I do not have the money to buy head to toe urban outfitters so I can fit in their “trendy but appropriate” dress code.

My closet is my prized possession and it’s where all of my extra money has gone to since I was 15 ish. I guess I can wear some of my band tees or hoodies..? And some jeans? But it just keeps getting hotter and hotter here and the AC barely gets to upstairs. Even the clothes I bought at urban before would get me dress coded because that’s always what I have felt better wearing. I hate dressing down, it always makes me feel bad about myself.

If they don’t want us to use our own personal style anymore, just give us a uniform to wear to work at this point.

I’ve already been typing about this all morning so I won’t add everything into here atm, but I really hope that this policy isn’t abused and used to target certain employees because of its stupid vauge-ness. It’s just giving a free pass for bad managers to bully employees in the name of “well that falls under the dress code” because literally you could argue that with almost anything unless it’s from urban outfitters directly.

Edit: Just to clarify the code was enforced just now but we knew about it for a month or so. Me and my coworkers are all nervous about how it’s going to change the workplace
