As the title says, I just got hired but as a seasonal sales associate. I was wondering if anyone here can tell me what are the chances they’ll keep me on after this summer ends? Also, what should I do to increase my chances? Just curious because I would hate to get comfy only to be unemployed after a few months in :p

i had an interview at urban yesterday and forgot to ask how much the job pays 😭 is it minimum wage for your state?

I’ve been getting my 100% cotton band t shirt dresses from UO for years and for the past 6 months or so there’s like nothing of that sort anymore. Kinda sucks cause they used to have the best movie and band tee’s

Any other employees out there highly disagree with the new dress code. I think one of the best parts about working here was freedom to wear whatever! And now that being limited and ofc it’s mainly target towards female employees! What is happening to this company! So disappointed yet again!

i was in a store a couple of weeks ago and i asked if they had a jacket i liked in my size, they said no and told me they could order it online for me with next day delivery.
i paid £70 for it to not arrive. i had an email confirmation but it was just a titled email? strangely, there was nothing actually in the email.
after, i had a lot of emails thanking me for visiting the store, and I HAVE THE PAPER RECEIPT! however customer service are saying there’s nothing they can do since i don’t have an order number and it won’t come up in my order history. i have the bank receipt also. £70 coming out of my account at the store!!!!
help??? is there anything i can do or have i effectively just lost my money? i’ve emailed twice to no avail. i’m quite bummed out about this:(

Someone posted about this a few weeks ago but I thought I’d share that the quality is just abysmal for what I paid recently for two shirts.

The first was a long sleeve kimchi blue shirt with a print and attached lace, was on clearance but retails for $40. The lace ripped on the bottom of the shirt upon putting it on… the second time I wore it. I loved the fit so I went and cut off the remaining lace and left the mesh bottom, and am hoping I can make it work. If anything else I can remove all the layering lace on the arms too and wear another lace shirt under the main tee but on principle, that’s ridiculous.

I also recently got the luckiest one cami in the same day, paid $40. It’s pulling at the seams already by where the armpit is and I wore it once. It’s such a cute top and I will sew the seams to reinforce it if it tears but it’s still ridiculous for the price being dropship quality essentially. I know it’s fast fashion, but I do not experience this level of literally falling apart before I’ve even washed it at other places that are fast fashion, most are at least good for a while before there’s issues. Free people has been like this too, and they’re owned by the same parent company. Which in itself is ridiculous considering how expensive FP is. I’m just really frustrated, I’ve loved UO for ages but I’m going to hiatus until the quality vastly improves.
