Did anybody else see that crazy looking effect at the launch just now?
It looked almost like a halo or some kind of jellyfish effect right as the rocket went up high enough to dissappear from sight. It was crazy beautiful.

I was attempting to surf some smaller waves at Shepard park but the seaweed kept getting caught on my leash, its not a deal breaker I just was curious if there are any beaches known for not having such intense seaweed.
So I'm still pretty new, I was just wondering if making turns was more in the hips (like turning your upper body to the direction you want to go first) or if its more in the back-foot, is it similar to how you can either lean or use the tail of a skateboard?
Popping up, should I be already on my way to popping up when I start feeling the energy of the wave carrying me?
I drove to cocoa beach yesterday to surf but they had the double red flags out and nobody was allowed in the water. Is there somewhere I can look just to double check the double reds aren't up?
I couldn't look away. I saw it first on 528 on the way home from the beach.
I can guess why, and it wouldn't necessarily be a problem for me if they had more than 2 cashiers working 🤔
