When choices are limited for an event currency bonus is it better to use a good score 0% event bonus Holomem or low score tiny event bonus Holomem?

Right now I'm wondering if anything less than 6% event bonus is worth considering adding to your unit during an event. A ★4 Holomem with a single Bloom gives 6% while a ★3 that's maxed out only give 3%. I feel a little bad topping out at a B tier Unit Score trying to max my event bonus so I want to know if I should be replacing the 3% bonus ★3 with a 0% bonus ★5 Holomem.

Slightly Faster Maverick Powering Up in Leon Must Die Forever

This is a clip of some Axe-orcist gameplay on Rank 5 while still building up attack power for Maverick with perfect parries. There are several factors to note here.

If an area is too cramped (like for most of the Care Center's Restroom) then many special animations will be cancelled. A perfect parry on a zombie will still cause it to go in its kneeling state but Leon won't do the special parry animation for it. Zombie grabs are also prevented and they will instead just do a single hit attack with no need to break out which saves a lot of time on mistakes.

A parry stunned zombie won't chain into another parry stun like normal which may make getting a rhythm more difficult. With the prevented animations Leon is more freed up to parry more incoming attacks in the same amount of time, particularly if you add in a second zombie (usually the special parry animation will cause other zombies to back off).

While chaining together parries, zombies will sometimes shamble slowly and idle without attacking. During those moments you can sprint for a high chance of forcing them to attack instantly. This saves time from waiting for the next attack.

Maverick's close combat boost starts at 100% and increases by a certain amount with each perfect parry. From 100% to 900% it increases by 40%, from 900% to 1400% it increases by 50%, and finally from 1400% to 2000% it increases by 60% at a time. The Mortal Edge's more generous perfect parry timing is of course the best for this.

Hellblaze normally sets zombies on fire on perfect parry but if the special animation is cancelled then the fire does not go into effect.

"Trinity Challenge" on Rank 5 with Axe-orcist Complete (Restrictions for Leon's Limbo, Purgatory, and Inferno all in one go)

Main Street, Care Center, and East Raccoon City: Streets got the Zombie Genocidist tour for Limbo.

Only used three abilities at a time (Two after Axe-orcist's Maverick; Went with Chronos Shot and Bloodshot for the start, then Soul Sucker and Amped Up for most of the game, then ended with Phantom Assassin which didn't matter much and Amped Up). Ran away from Slot Expansions for Purgatory. A blue BSAA zombie tried to ruin it with a Slot Expansion in addition to his beeping grenade.

Super Tyrant got (1920% - 50% boosted) Hellblaze hatchet execution for Inferno.

Spencer's vision got the RPG. Final phase topped off Maverick as a bonus.

For convenience, the challenge descriptions are below:

Leon's Limbo
On Forever - Rank 3 or higher, survive for at least 40 minutes, and take down 110 enemies before defeating Victor.

Leon's Purgatory
On Forever - Rank 3 or higher, defeat Victor without using any slot expansions.

Leon's Inferno
On Forever - Rank 3 or higher, inflict at least 5000 damage on the Super Tyrant in one hit (excluding RPG-7).

You can lose an upgraded Matilda when picking it up with a full inventory without discarding anything

For whatever reason it is possible to lose an upgraded Matilda IMP when trying to pick it up with a full Attache Case without actually discarding anything. A basic Matilda does not appear to have this issue.

Keep in mind there are distinct messages for closing the inventory with excess items outside the Attache Case. "Discard these items?" discards items. "Close inventory? All items not in the inventory will be discarded." discards your items as well as what was supposed to be picked up. "Leave item and close inventory?" returns the item where it was. Here it's the last message but the upgraded Matilda IMP is not returned.

Clipped from normal gameplay so parts are just managing other things instead of keeping an eye on The Disappearance of Matilda Handgun.

When out of general weapons and LMDF doesn't want you to get Legendary weapons you will only receive Hand Grenades

This was all in the same playthrough. Weapons I didn't have space for and didn't want to show up again I left behind without picking up or discarding in a stage. New rare zombies and weapon containers would only give Hand Grenades from then on until I discarded a weapon to add it back to the rotation.

I did not get a chance to test what happens if you add in Mixed Blessing while stuck in Hand Grenade Purgatory.

Leon Must Die to Tinnitus (Amped Up Side Effect)

In Leon Must Die Forever there is an Enhancer Ability called Amped Up. It states,

>Using a recovery item temporarily reduces damage taken by 100% (excluding instant death attacks). You cannot be staggered while this effect is active. The duration of the effect depends on the item used and cannot be extended by using another item.

What it doesn't say is that when the effect ends Leon instantly staggers and suffers a tinnitus effect similar to getting hit by a Singer zombie scream. Under the effect Leon cannot sprint and aiming significantly suffers.

Healing items as well as the Enhancer's Med Injector will all be able to trigger Amped Up and the heal quality changes its duration (and by extension how long until the tinnitus effect kicks in). If you're not careful you can be caught in a really bad position without the ability to run.

Knowing exactly why that happens hopefully will lead to less confusion. And preferably fewer panic-induced game overs. You could also use that very pronounced indicator as a cue to chain another Amped Up heal.

Fun fact: Ammo drops in Leon Must Die Forever don't necessarily skew towards what you need

Main Street gave no Shotgun Ammo and no Machine Gun Ammo right up until I left for Rehab and the box next to the door provided for the Stiri. Axed a few zombies and they gave Rifle Ammo while my empty guns were starving.

Man... [LMDF]

It's only Rank 3 but still. All that downtime during the fight where you just wait until you can hit something again makes me feel like I was robbed. Also I forgot to swap out some of the abilities once I entered the final fight but I'm not sure how much it would have helped at that point.
