I have a few questions about Swiss (image unrelated)
I would like to start using Swiss to play games straight from an SD card because I’ve been researching it on a surface level, but I have a few questions about it just so everything is fully clear to me before I invest in it.
Do I have to edit any part of my hardware for it? I am not willing to solder or cut. I may get a different shell and laser to play burned DVDs but that is not open to me right now so ignore that.
Is it even possible to play games straight from an SD card without hard mods? I know that there is a port for some sort of storage adapter at the bottom of the Gamecube, but I still see people cut out and install SD slots so that makes me wonder if certain models of GCs do not work the same way, just like the digital port on some.
For any method of loading that uses memory cards, are the slots A and B interchangeable? I am aware many games require you to have the memory card in slot A to read and write but my slot A is very fickle and I would like to know if any configuration setting would be messed up by having either memory card in any slot.
Can you store Game Boy games on an SD card and then load into them with Swiss and a GB Player, or does the GB Player hardware require you to have a cartridge in the slot to play anything (which is what I suspect)
