Urgent please

41 female. I’ve been taking max ibuprofen, max paracetamol, canderstan (head pressure), gabapentin since may for multiple herniated discs. I saw my gp today as getting tingling in all limbs and butt cheeks. She prescribed me naproxen and to stop the ibuprofen I had already taken 2 this morning and 2 lunch and were due 2 now so for hopefully a good night I took one of my naproxen- doctor prescribed and sticker says 250mg twice a day. But the box and tablet I took says 500mg tablets I didn’t notice the 500mg till I was putting the box back as had the prescription and read the label on the front of the box that the pharmacy printed and signed

An MRI scan of brain and scan showed no bleed or spinal leak. She did have moderate central broad based disc protrusion at C5-C6 and C6-C7 with impingement of anterior cervical cord but no cord compression or nerve root compression. There were some lumbar disease changes too.

Can I claim

I’m Self employed domestic cleaner. Since may l've been suffering with bad back and neck pain nerve related (mri showed herniated disc in neck and back) pain isn't improving and now down my right arm pain and all pins and needles (saw doctor when it happened also devastated as I have private exams booked as I went back to school last year and now can’t even hold a pain with out pain and my hand going into spasm). I’ve had a swollen joint in index finger (since March), saw the doctor in may. been on gabapentin (now 6 a day to try and get pain under control), 8 paracetamol, 6 ibuprofen, canderstan (this is for head pressure), freeze gel and codeine for flair ups. Physio couldn't help no longer (he did acupuncture) he thinks it's not muscular. A 3rd referral has been put in to rhemotology, 1st was due to joint swelling pain during flare ups and high temp spikes - started last November and happen around 5-6 week, 2nd was due to joint swelling in finger started in March x ray in June when I was hospitalised due to pain in my back and my neck causing a server headache ,also now been referred to pain clinic for spinal injections. I can only work 3 to 4 hours a day as activities make it worse (my normal would be 10 - 12 hours a day). My daughter is having to help with my job to do the hoovering, lifting, mopping. But she starts A levels in September. When it flairs up I can’t do anything.
To add
- doctor and physio think it’s all linked
- had a hemithyroidectomy 2 years ago due to a large nodule causing hyperthyroidism
- claiming esa at the moment

Please any ideas as I’m beginning to think this is not a migraine

Female 41, weight 10 stone height 5 ft 3. Hrt November 2025.
Since Wednesday evening, I’ve had a lot of pressure in my head stabbing pain. Ibuprofen, paracetamol and codeine haven’t worked. Friday I contacted my doctor and she gave me sumatriptan I did that Friday and Saturday it hasn’t worked. Saturday I got out of bed as we had people round. And the pain and pressure got so bad they were trying to get an ambulance out to me. They were short on ambulances so an out of hours GP phoned tell my husband to take me to A&E. At A&E doctor gave me a prescription for a different migraine medication but that hasn’t worked. The pain is increasingly bad when I sit and when I stand, I get dizzy. It’s like the floors moving, I’ve got spasms and twitches mainly down my back my neck and between my shoulder blades slight witching in my arms and my legs. Vision is blurry on and off. theyve diagnosing it as a migraine but it’s been days and it’s not going. if anybody’s got any idea it will help. I’ve tried to electrolyte drinks and cold compresses too. I’m on anti-sickness as it does make me very nausea and makes me sick sometimes. Thanks really appreciate anything.
