Question for my fellow Doctor Hoo fans 🦉
https://i.imgur.com/ygTgLso.jpg
Which handheld item is most like a sonic screwdriver?
And aside from the Galaxy Pilot ensemble, which clothes create a good Doctor Hoo look? (Can be any regeneration, can be any companion, any Master/Missy, etc.) (And yes, I know the white version of that without the robot visor and using robot boots instead of pilot boots makes a good reference to "Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead".)
The update finally rolled out for me, cheep! My tree friends are wearing their outfits!
Now my spoopy tree looks super awesome and I wish it could look like this forever, cheep!
Could someone please send me the Black Preppy Mary Janes?
imgur.comQuestion about account creation
I've been playing for a while without creating an account.
If I did that now, would it seamlessly import my history (thanks, cookies)?
Is it necessary to specify items in a set you already have?
It's taking me a while to cobble together my wishlist. Partly because there's a lot I'd like because I've only been here for 2 months and missed a lot, partly because I overthink a lot and sometimes can't decide if I want this color version or not, partly because ADHD makes me work slowly, and partly because it's taking me time to go through and see what I have and don't have of a set (sometimes if I'm lucky, one piece becomes available in the shop, so I snag it and then when I get back to my list, I go through again to see what I no longer need).
I think I read somewhere that gifters can see whether someone has a piece of clothing or furniture or not. Is that true?
[META] Wishlist posting etiquette?
So, if I have a few very generous tree friends who like to gift me stuff, would it be taken as ungrateful if I were to post a wishlist? Or would it be seen as helpful so that if they see it, they would have a better idea of what I'd super love?
Numbers aren't linear in a base-7 number system
- "I use base 7 so the numbers aren’t linear"
- "You don’t get a whole set with 10 numbers, you get 1 and 3/7 sets."
- "With the numbers 1-10 you get one, two, three, four, five, six, ten ten-one, ten-two, ten-three. Not one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten"
- "when you map the values of base 7 to base 10 you don’t get a whole set"
R4: Even if base 7 were somehow deficient and base 10 were objectively correct, none of this has anything to do with linearity. Linear means steady, equal change. No matter what base you count in, ••••••• + • = ••••••••
Tic urge potentially showing up in dreams?
I have never* ticced or felt any tic urge in my dreams, but I'm wondering if that can explain the strange dream I had last night.
In my dream, I wasn't ticcing, but I was very angry. Everything, everyone, made me very angry. And my response was to have a very jerky, spastic physical tantrum. Not unlike my response to real-world anger when I was younger (up through at least my teenage years).
Usually when I have strong emotions in my dreams, they follow me however briefly into the waking world. But the anger was completely gone before I was fully awake. And I can't recall being angry in a dream before. Frustrated, certainly. Sad. Frightened. But not angry.
I'm just trying to figure out where this unusual dream came from and whether my Tourette had anything to do with it.
*(This might have happened once or twice before in my life, but so rarely, so infrequently, that if it has ever happened, I can't remember when. I'm 51F.)
