what do you think are the main reasons for violence?

so i came upon a thread in a different post, and a man claimed this:

“Men murder women for being evil. Women make up false accusations about most of the time there are very few real cases of rape. The ones that are real are mostly because that evil woman has pushed a man to far with her manipulation and he snaps and ends up humbling her some with rape which makes her tone down her evil ways, which in turn protects everyone. There are a small sliver of exceptions to this where a man is actually the one who is evil and other men will hold him accountable just as they hold themselves accountable.”

i don’t think most men agree with this, i just wanted to ask your opinions about the topic. the part that’s crazy to me is that the user who said it seemed reasonable before he started making statements like this.

if you will, please include your age and political stance in your answer.

edit: when i was making this post i was thinking about violence in general but some people are asking me to be more specific. so maybe you can answer for gender based violence specifically. but if you want to answer the general question you can do that too.

another edit: i’m asking this question because usually whenever this topic comes up people just say “testosterone” this is why i wanted to ask men because you all have testosterone but obviously you’re not all violent. i think it also fits in with some other posts that have been recently made on this sub

what preferences are women allowed to have?

woman has a preference for a man who’s rich or just financially stable, who has confidence: bad because she doesn’t love him for who he is

woman has a preference for a tall man: bad because you can’t control height

woman has a preference for a guy with big muscles: bad because men don’t like being loved for something they worked towards

why aren’t men happier about the fact that they can improve themselves to be more likeable to women?

men usually treat the fact that they have to work towards being desirable to women as a negative. they complain about having to be financially stable, working towards being confident and “having game” etc

my question is, why is this such a bad thing? the men who lament about these things the most also say that the most important things to them in a woman are her beauty, youth, body count. wouldn’t you rather be judged on how hard you work than be judged on your looks and age?

edit: damn i just saw a post that was posted like 15 minutes before this one that’s asking kinda the same question, whoops

why don’t you guys go for older women

  1. she’s less likely to expect money from you
  2. she will be very physically attracted to you as you are an upgrade from her former husband
  3. more emotional maturity
  4. probably better sexual skills
