Is my dogwood dying?

Bought our house 2 years ago and this dogwood is prematurely going through fall changes. There’s not much shade over it, my neighbor has an ash tree that offers some during certain times of day but it’s l in direct sun for many hours a day. I can’t see the root flare, so I know I can start there.

But, I’m wondering if this tree is past the point of saving

Ran out of prescription hydrolyzed food

We ran out of my dog’s prescription hydrolyzed food and the new bag will take ~3 days to arrive. Wondering if anyone has advice for what I should feed her in the meantime?

I thought I would try to get OTC without allergens. But I know it’s likely encountered contamination in the factory so it’s not an ideal solution.

For the future: I set up an autoship to arrive sooner than I think I’ll need it so I’m prepared.

EDIT- Thank you everyone for your extremely helpful suggestions. I called my vet and they had samples, I picked those up and I also had them write me a paper prescription for me to keep in my files in case I need to ever bring it to another vet or petsmart to fill.

Shelf above stove on tile backsplash

I’ve seen a single ledge or shelf installed above the stove using the countertop stone continuing up the backsplash. I’m wondering if anyone has installed a shelf like this but on a wall that has tile backsplash not stone slab?

I’m going to have tile backsplash behind my stove, either subway tile or small square delft tiles. I would like the shelf to not stand out from a style perspective. *photo is not my own but an example*

Edit: I don’t mind the look of continuing the countertop slab up until the shelf then backsplash tile on top of that but we are using a leathered black granite for counter top and was planning on a white or cream tile backsplash which is more contrast than what any inspiration photos I can find have

Reconnecting original tub during bathroom remodel

We will be renovating our bathroom soon and part of the process will be removing the original pedestal cast iron tub, which has all of the original plumbing still, in order to remove the LVP the previous owners installed, properly waterproof, and install tile.

One plumber who looked at the bathroom warned that it be an issue to reconnect it. So now I’m wondering if this is actually a real concern or if this plumber just doesn’t have enough experience with old bathrooms.

For those who did this, what was your experience?

Trans couple planning for future

My fiancé is a trans woman (mtf), she had a vasectomy about 4 years ago and has been on HRT ~3 years. She didn’t freeze sperm when she had it done at that time. Now we are exploring starting the fertility process to freeze her sperm or embryos with the hopes of conceiving in a couple of years. She is 28 and I am 29 and would be carrying.

Her endo suggested a urologist specializing in transgender people. I’m wondering if anyone has gone through this process before and what it is like? If there’s any advice you can give to a couple just beginning to think about this. Edit: in US

Fertility

My fiancé is MTF, she had a vasectomy about 4 years ago as well. We’re interested in exploring the fertility process in the hope of extracting some of her sperm to be able to be used. Her endo suggested a urologist specializing in transgender people. I’m wondering if anyone has gone through this process before and what it is like? If there’s any advice you can give? We’re also in the northeast if you have any specific providers to recommend. Thank you 👼🏻
