Nuggets is an Eastwood community cat. There was this adoption/pet event earlier today at the EW Mall and the organisers/volunteers are selling stickers with the faces of the EW community cats to raise funds. Of course we bought the Nuggs sticker!! His tambayan is the K Mart near the condo and while walking around tonight, Nuggs was there!! GF tried to get a pawsign but Nuggs doesn’t wanna give an autograph!! 🤣

Tried HELM today for the first time (lunch service). Thoughts:

1. Taste is subjective, and for someone who likes to eat good food, I think it’s worth Two Michelin Stars. Was happy with the menu that got served to us.

2. The elevated buchi was one of my favourites. It’s crispy and infused with a lobster filling. I like it as it’s savoury. (2nd photo)

3. My favourite from the course was the seabass with salted cod (8th photo). Was served to my liking because it was firm and not overwhelmingly salty. A5 Japanese Wagyu (11th photo) was mid but the beetroot made up for it.

4. Least favourite was the egg, pumpkin, xo (4th photo). Was not just for me.

5. Extra courses were served (bread course, palette cleanser, additional desserts). Loved the bread course (6th photo). I forgot the name of the bread and is not listed on the menu but I loved the one that looks like a muffin. Crispy on the outside. Goes well with the caviar butter.

6. Dessert was mid and sweet but when it was served with their dark roast coffee, I liked it, was balanced. Would have skipped it if not for the coffee.

7. Service was great. Chefs and servers were attentive.

8. Total price for reference: Tasting menu for 2 pax + 2 bottles of aqua panna + SC = 15,097.50. You are required to make a deposit to secure your table.

I spoke to his owner today and they are leaving for Armenia on the 29th. Hope I see you again in the future, Ace!
