Cultural similarities bw jammu and lower himachal

Random observation, but has anyone else from Jammu or Lower Himachal noticed how similar some of our traditional customs are?

I’ve noticed quite a few similarities between Dogra and Lower Himachal culture, especially in wedding rituals folk songs devta traditions fairs festivals and even some food and everyday customs.

Being from Jammu, some Kangra/Nurpur traditions feel surprisingly familiar. Just curious if others have noticed this too, and what similarities you’ve come across?

How do you stop getting so attached to people?

I genuinely want to know because I feel like getting attached too easily only ends up hurting you.

Whenever I start caring about someone I slowly get emotionally invested then if they leave change, or become distant it affects me way more than it probably should

How do you reduce attachment? Or is it even possible to get rid of it completely?

I'm not looking for the usual "just love yourself" advice

I'm more interested in practical things that have actually worked for you..

Why does it always feel like the wrong people have the easiest time in relationships?

Seriously why does it always seem like the most toxic guys never struggle to find another relationship?

I know a guy who was in a relationship that ended after they got physically involved. When things got difficult, he literally told her I don't want this anymore just leave me a few days later, he was already with another girl, and now his Instagram stories are full of pictures with her like nothing ever happened...

Meanwhile I see genuinely good guys who love with their whole heart, stay loyal, respect their partner, and actually put effort into the relationship... and they're either left heartbroken or end up staying single...

I'm not saying every girl chooses the wrong person or that all guys are the same I just don't understand why people who treat others so badly seem to move on so easily while sincere people are the ones left picking up the pieces

Why do you think this happens? 🥀
