No service suddenly

Been on mint since 2021? 2022? I forget. A long time, I love it and recommend it to everyone.

I’ll preface this with “I am dumb with phones” so this could just be idk a downed tower or something. But the past two weeks, I have no service at work. And it’s weird because I have 2-3 bars and everything lines up like I SHOULD have service but texts stop sending, I can’t load any browser pages, etc. Absolutely zero issues before this just randomly happened 2 weeks ago. Same amount of bars but could receive calls and the rest (now I just get notice that I have a voicemail but the phone never rings).

I’m in western CT, and I have an iPhone 14 Pro. Mostly concerned about safety because I can’t reach anyone nor can they reach me for 9 hours of the day. There are a few surrounding towns I’ve noticed have gone SOS when it previously worked as well, again same timeframe. Anyone else have issues in CT?

So confused. I lived with a dog for a few years when I was with my ex, that was about 10 yrs ago. Was totally fine zero issues. Now, my husband and I just adopted a dog last week and I didn’t think much would be different, but now it’s my brain constantly going“oh there are poop germs all over my floor” and I’m washing my hands every time I pet her and when we go outside her paws and nose are touching places where other dogs pooped and peed and aaaaaaahhhhhh it’s endless torture on my brain.

I’m sure plenty of us with OCD have dogs and we do just fine! I just don’t understand why this time feels so much more difficult.

So far I’ve been wiping her paws with pet safe wet wipes when we come in from outside, and I don’t let her lick me at all. Everything else is manageable… she’s stressed and had an event where she soiled herself and the crate… but I know and hope that those events are few and far between and that she’ll fall into a routine with us. And ultimately, proud that I pushed all of the screaming thoughts aside and picked up a poop- and puke-covered dog and took her to the bath, cleaned her up while my husband worked on cleaning the crate, and gave her endless love afterwards to help her feel better.
