This nation is so cooked that a state government is focused on kicking autowala and taxi driver for language issue. Public are celebrating like all civil issues will be solved by beating them.

I'm indeed very happy with the level of politics these politicians play. I mean, they all take the divide and rule strategy straight out of the colonial playbook and execute it flawlessly every single time, because they know the public will fall for it hook, line, and sinker.

Think about it. We have roads that transform into swimming pools at the first sight of rain, potholes big enough to have their own postcodes, crumbling public infrastructure, healthcare systems where you need luck more than medicine, and an education system that pushes paper degrees instead of actual skills. But sure, let's convince the masses that the real threat to our culture and economic prosperity is a migrant auto driver working 20 hours a day just to afford two meals and send three thousand rupees back home.

What's insane is how easy it is to distract people. Instead of demanding accountability from local authorities for flooded streets, terrible urban planning, or lack of local job creation, people are out on the streets celebrating mob justice like it’s some major civic victory. "He didn't speak the local language fluently? Beat him up, that’ll fix the drainage system!"

It’s the ultimate scapegoating mechanism. Politicians get to cover up years of governance failure by playing the regional pride card, and the angry, unemployed youth get a soft target to unleash their frustration on. The system stays broken, the politicians keep their seats, and the guy driving a rickshaw for pennies takes the fall for everything wrong with the state. We aren't just cooked; we've completely burnt the vessel.
