To Glue or not to Glue: Wired Ear Tabs

Hi! I have alopecia, and don't really have hair along my sideburn area. I have worn wigs with normal ear tabs (fabric, silicon, etc), but I was interested in getting the lace ones that just have wire in them because I hope it'll give me more customization for my sideburn area so I can do half up half downs more realistically.

My question is, are you able to wear these without glueing them down (if you are leaving your hair down)? And if you glue them down, do they still look realistic/flat to your head? I've attached pictures of what I am talking about for reference, any help will be appreciated!

Not sure if I should just stick to normal ones and accept defeat in favor of the low-maintenance lifestyle lol. Possibly considering BLB or Hairalicious. Thanks!

ISO Low-Maintenance Wig for College Student

Hi everyone! I have alopecia and I’ve been wearing glueless wigs daily for years (wefted lace fronts where the front is more full). I usually replace mine about once a year since I wear the same one basically all day (working out, going out, etc).

I’m hoping to find a wig that is handtied and preplucked because I want to have more styling versatility. Thanks!

Budget: < 3000

human hair, low density, ideally glueless

Location: Tri-State Area, CA, or online
