Is it worth applying to u of c eng with 89.6 grade?
Should I apply to u of c with a 89.6% average? Do I even have a chance?

I’m in grade 12 and I’m looking to get into engineering (mechanical). The universities I’m applying to are U of A, U of C (long shot), USask, and NorQuest transfer program if nothing works out. If there are any other universities I can get into, let me know!
Math 30-1: 92
Physics 30: 97
Chem 20: 95
English 20-1: 72😭
Social 20-1: 71 (taking 30-2 rn)
Ok so I am a student from Alberta who just finished grade 11. I want to apply to usask for engineering but I was wondering what avg would I be applying with?
Math 30-1 92
Physics 30: 97
Chem 20: 95
Computing science 20: 96.5
English 20-1: 72
Social 20-1: 71
The thing is I thought I could use math, physics, computing science, chem and English to apply. This would make my avg 90.2 which would make me eligible for early addmission. However, on their website it says I can only use two natural sciences (physics, chem or computing science). Does this mean they will use social as my fifth course??? Cuz that would make my avg 85.4😭😭😭someone pls tell me

I just finished gr 11 and jm looking to apply to Western for engineering and some other universities too. I know that western gives a 4% boost, but is it only for grade 12 classes? So like if I early apply with some grade 12 classes completed, will the boost only apply to the 30 level classes or my entire average?
I just finished grade 11 and my average was a 89% (top 5) and 90.4% (top 6). I’m from Alberta and I’m hoping to get into engineering at U of A. But I also was wondering if there would be any other university where I would be able to get early admission in case U of A doesn’t work out. I was thinking about uOttawa, TMU, western or queens maybe. Thanks!
