Thoughts on buying an old professional camera for indie filmmaking

Hi, I am an amateur cinematographer, I have been in filmmaking studies and wants to work in the industry. I have had some experiences as an assistant but in my country the cine industry tend be very closed to newcomers, so I mainly shoot independant shortfilms to try winning some prices in filmfests.

I work all the with almost the same crew, and one of our goals is to try matching the best as we can the industry standard in terms of cinematography quality and workflow (again to gain prices in filmfests) but also to gain a reputation on our production workflow.

So here's the topic I wanted to disscuss, most of the time on our productions, I have worked with prosumer video oriented modern cameras. But on the last project I have shot the mini hdmi port of my camera just stopped working, which made us lost 2h to get to the nearest renting shop and get a new camera. That made me realise I need a way more reliable camera body. The thing also is that we always work with a full crew (fucus puller, second ac, many makeup artist, costume designers, hairdresser, director, assisstant director, gaffer, etc...) which led us to always have many monitors and the camera powered on almost all day, so having a lots of outputs on the camera is a must have for me. With that, I mainly do tripods and shoulder rig shots and for movements I prefer to have dolly than using gimball, so having a big camera rig is not an issue at all. Also I really like having my own camera and we don't have the budget to rent professionnal cameras (like alexa mini or 35) the must I can afford here is an fx6 and its just on specific projects that have the budget for it (note that the option for rental where we are, are very limited). So wandered if buying an older professionnal camera could be worh it as it could step up some very low budjet projects. I have a good deal on a sony f55 with an r5 2 sxs card, 1 axsm card and a viewfinder plus a base plate for 2500€, panasonic varicam super 35 or eva 1 for 1700 to 2100€ and some super35 ursa models on the same price range. I'am not sure if these could be good deals, but I know that I haven't the budget for an fx6, fx3, pyxis 12k (I really hate the 6k sensor) or ronin 4d. And I think super35 sensors could be great as I am accustomed to work with it and can allow me to get cheapper optics with better quality. Also adding that I start to have a pretty great color grading workflow, so things like the "sony look" from the f55 are not an issue. Love to hear your thoughts on the question and if you have camera model recommention for this workflow :).

Hi, so just today microsoft defender started to spot as Trojan:Win32/Ravartar!rfn, first I thought it was a false positive but I got some account that were conected on my pc hijacked. So I from what i've seen Defender says its affecting powershell(dot)exe. Also it starts whenever I start my pc. I've runned scans with hitmanpro and malwarebytes but it has found nothing. Now I have just malwarebytes that disable it when I start my pc. Nothing shows up when booting in safe mod. Also both defender and malwarebytes can't suppress it but can only block it. What do you suggest ? I really can't find out anything on how I can be sure to remove it.
