I've wanted to draw these two for a while now, plus I needed practice in full-body drawings, so... here we are! I think the Lucina x Laurent pairing is incredibly sweet and painfully underrated, so I wanted to show some appreciation. If you haven't played a game of Awakening with the pairing before, try it sometime!

I'm in the process of colouring this drawing, but since I don't have the greatest colouring skills, I wanted to share these before I possibly ruin it - and since I'm trying to work on shading, fire lighting (Laurent's using Valflame 💀), and eventually fairly complex backgrounds, I'm not exactly having the easiest time with it, lmao. I'll upload the final results to Tumblr either way, but if I fail too terribly, this may be all I share of the artwork on Reddit or anywhere else.

Anyway, hopefully you all enjoy the concept at least, if not the execution itself, lmao. Tips/constructive criticism for my future reference are always welcome!

Found on a reel with a man using a punching bag, with the caption "If I was in the 1920s my wife wouldn't stand a chance".

Then a woman says "neither would you, buddy..." and talks about how, before divorce was legalised, women used arsenic or other similar chemicals in cleaning products to get rid of abusive partners.

This wonderful comment got the pin of shame, and yet somehow has more likes than comments. I don't even know what to say. I'm probably going to slam my head through a wall later, hopefully it'll put me out of my misery.

A few days ago, I posted some sketches that I drew for today, because I wasn't sure I'd finish them in time... however, I have surprised myself and fully coloured them in! I suppose getting a new felt tip pen and some decent colouring pencils definitely helped.

All things considered, I'm quite satisfied with how they both came out. I mean, I've made a couple of mistakes here and there, and I've obviously got a lot to learn, but I'm willing to improve.

Anyway, happy 27th, and I'll be back with some more art soon! It's 11pm and I'm tired, so hopefully this ramble is somewhat coherent lmao

P.S. Maybe I should delete my older post now that I've got this? Idk, what do you all think?

I know his birthday isn't for another few days, but I wanted to post this now, for a couple of reasons:

1. I'm going back to uni in a couple of days, so I'm not sure I'll have enough time to finish this before 27/5, but MORE IMPORTANTLY:

2. I'm planning on colouring these drawings in. I have very little success with colouring my drawings in, so I wanted to share what I have now before I possibly butcher these.

Also, I still cannot draw hands 😔 just focus on everything else lmao

This is why I do physical drawings. I lose all patience while doing digital drawings

I don't have an iPad or drawing tablet for digital art. My phone's screen is way too small to really stick to my WIPs for more than a day. There was once a time where I had the patience to draw using my computer's trackpad, but that day has since passed long ago. So behold: my physical art!

I swear I'm decent at drawing anime eyes, I just rushed the outlining process, lol. I drew this art in three sessions, and during the third one, I misplaced my pencil sharpener, which lead to the eyes looking as strange as they are.

Anyway, enjoy! It's my first time drawing fandom art this year, and my first proper Fire Emblem-related art! More will come soon, whether you like it or not >:D

Don't worry about me, I'm not usually this batshit insane. I try to come up with strange, silly prompts so I don't spend all my time only asking generic how-are-you questions, or super specific niche fandom stuff, or whatever. Sometimes I lie about needing help with school projects (I graduated HS last year lol), other times I say stuff like this. Nothing I ask is serious, is what I'm trying to say.

I do this since a lot of people complain about the aforementioned questions... unfortunately my prompts often get assigned to the wrong people. -_-

(and after trying the first prompt again, I got a decently funny answer XD)
