My speedometer leaks out passed the shaft and drips from around the the cable nut. I know there’s supposed to be an oring on the fitting I removed it to replace it but there’s nothing on the shaft itself. How are you supposed to seal it or is the cable and nut itself supposed to seal to the fitting.

Would anyone know why I might be getting this error. I started off with a cone. I put a cut down the middle to split it. I then converted it to a a surface model then went to ruled and added a straight tangent to it. I then stitched the cone and the tangent together. I then went and added thickness to the inside. Now when I go to convert it to sheet metal so I can flatten it i get this error.
