Morning ride along the Arabian peninsula in Jubail Industrial City Saudi Arabia was good and bad. Arrived unloaded the bike and headed out, about 7km away I got a flat, unfortunately my repair kit was at the vehicle. I pushed my bike to the road and flagged down a guy in a Toyota pickup and used google translate to explain my situation as he was from Yemen and spoke no English! He agreed to load up me and the bike then took me to my vehicle 🙏. I repaired the flat and a friend arrived and we went out on a nice ride . 🤝

I went with the bike to use as an urban cruiser and possibly a few overnight trips. First day was getting my touch points to my comfort. Brooks saddle, Ergon pedals & grips. Have ordered some other stuff which shall arrive soon. So far it’s a decent bike and enjoyable to ride. As my other bike are higher end electronic derailleurs it is taking a bit of adjustment using the CUES as felt clunky at first but getting better each ride. ✅

JAVA Zelo I purchased used today and brought it home to make new. Added Brooks saddle, new pedals, new chain, new grips, and did a decent cleaning.
