Newbie recommandation

Hi everyone

I'm totally new to the kickscooter world and I only recently realized how useful they could be when I saw on google maps it can shorten my usual 25–30 minute walk from class to 7–8 minutes ride

I've never ridden a kick scooter before (I don't even know how to ride a bike)but I'm willing to learn

So I'm looking for recommendations for my first scooter : I'd mainly use it for about 1–2 miles per day around Athens, Ohio (Most of the roads are paved but the area is a little hilly)

Some info:

  • Height: 5'6" (168 cm)
  • Weight: 130 lbs (59 kg)
  • Budget: around $100

What would you recommend for someone in my situation?

TIA

No physical whiteboard (at-home GRE)

Hi everyone,

I took the GRE at home about 10 months ago and was planning to retake it next week but I just discovered in the at-home testing rules that physical whiteboards are no longer allowed and that only the on-screen whiteboard can be used

So for those of you who have recently taken the GRE at home, how difficult is it to scribble and work out problems using the on-screen whiteboard? I feel like it might slow me down or put me at a disadvantage but I'd really appreciate hearing about your experiences

Summit at Coates run

Hi everyone, I know housing has been asked plenty of times but I'd still like to ask about your opinion on the Summit at Coates Run

After reading some of the reviews, most are overwhelmingly positive but I've read some that were pretty concerning labelling it as greedy and stuff

So I'd like to hear your opinion about it.

Also, if you have other housing recommendations, I'm happy to hear those especially since my funding comes from Fulbright and I will only receive it at the beginning of August which gives me a very close window to find a room.

Thanks!
