Help your brother out...Moving to Pune next Sunday

Coming to your beautiful city next Sunday for work and I literally know nothing about Pune

My office is at Mantri Business Park / Viman Nagar side. The company is giving me accommodation for the first 10 days, but after that I need to find a place myself.

Looking for a PG or room/1RK, budget around ₹12–15k/month. Don't want to spend a ridiculous amount just because I'm new to the city.

I’d prefer to stay as close to the office as possible. I can consider nearby areas if the commute is easy, but I really don't want to spend 1–1.5 hours travelling every day.

So Pune people, help your brother out...

Which areas should I look at around Viman Nagar?

Any good PGs you know of?

Is ₹12–15k realistic for a decent place?

Which nearby areas have good options without making the commute painful?

What's the easiest way to commute there?

And if you know any specific PG/room, please drop the name/location.

I've got 10 days to figure this out once I reach, and right now I'm basically trying to understand Pune through Google Maps 😬

Any recommendations from people actually living around Viman Nagar??

3.5 YoE BA/PM, unemployed for a few weeks — resume attached, open to BA or PM roles, India or Remote

Left my last role last month after almost 3 years — was promoted from BA directly to PM, since it was a smaller firm with no Associate PM step like bigger companies usually have. That's part of why my resume still leans BA-heavy, so I'm open to both BA and PM roles, onsite in India or remote. Applying daily, barely any callbacks so far. Sharing my resume for honest feedback, and if anyone knows of openings or can help with a referral, I'd really appreciate it.

What should I do. Moved from BA to PM without an Associate step (small firm) — now struggling to get interviews. Could you please advice?

Left my last job last month after more than 3.5 years — started as a Business Analyst, got promoted directly to Product Manager. It was a smaller company, so there was no Associate PM level in between like bigger firms usually have. I get why that structure exists, and it means my resume still has a lot of BA-focused content, so I'm applying to both BA and PM roles now. Since leaving, it's been mostly rejections and silence, and I'm starting to doubt myself. Resume attached — honest feedback welcome, and any leads appreciated too.

27M Indian. Lost my virginity yesterday and realized porn didn't ruin sex, it ruined my expectations 😂

27M, Virgin till yesterday.

Spent the last couple of years years watching porn and somehow built sex up to be this heavenly, mind-blowing experience.

Yesterday I had my first kiss, first time being intimate, first oral experience, and first sex.

And honestly?

It felt... normal.

Not bad. Not disappointing. Just surprisingly normal.

I think porn made me expect every kiss, every touch and every act to feel insanely exciting, but in reality it felt like two people being close and figuring things out together.

I also had some erection issues. I wasn't completely soft, but I wasn't consistently hard either. We eventually managed, but I needed stronger stimulation to finish. Thankfully, she was patient and appreciated that I made her comfortable and respected consent.

The funny part is that even porn itself feels boring now.

I'm posting this mainly for younger guys and fellow virgins who might be putting sex on a pedestal like I did. Real life isn't a movie. There are no fireworks or background music. It's awkward, funny, intimate and surprisingly normal.

And apparently my PhD in PornHub Studies didn't prepare me for practical exams. 😂

TL;DR

- Lost virginity at 27.

- Real sex felt much more normal than I had imagined.

- Years of porn had created unrealistic expectations.

- Had some erection issues and performance anxiety.

- Realized comfort and consent mattered more than "performing".

- Porn didn't ruin the experience, but it definitely exaggerated my expectations.

Questions

- Did anyone else find their first time surprisingly normal or even underwhelming compared to what they had imagined?

- Does sex become more enjoyable and natural with time and experience, or am I just overthinking after one encounter?
