HOA using this line to define driveway width

We are a small community (49ish Houses) and unfortunately some idiot in 1990 established a HOA for us. For what it’s worth the HOA president and HOA itself isn’t too bad. I wanted to extend my driveway to an overall width of 30ft as it’s currently around 23.

The president told me the driveway can only be from one corner of the garage to the next, so around 17ft in width.

They forwarded me the pdf with rules and I read it and so did 10 other people I asked, none of us agree that this rule defined driveway width.

To make matters worse, a home owner 2 houses down extended his to 40ft, didn’t use concrete like they asked , used pavers and nobody did anything about it from the HOA, but they want to flex rules on me. I feel like a precedent has been established and even if there was a rule specifically defining the width it’s now null and void.

We renovated our main bathroom 2 years ago and purchased a vanity that at the time worked best with a rubber p trap.

For the past 2-3 months, I noticed a horrible smell coming from the sink. The smell got worse now that it’s warmer and that bathroom gets shitty AC coverage.

I pulled the p trap, there was a bunch of gunk in there .. washed it all out, after 30 min of cleaning and brushing I got 98% out.

After install, the smell was still there.

I pulled drain pipe and found that the drain pipe wasn’t connected correctly to the overflow holes on it. I ended up pulling out a cup worth of stuck gunk in the overflow channel. The smell was that what I been smelling. I thought finally problem solved .. installed everything back after cleaning it, this time properly. 2 days later the smell is back and it’s still there.

At this point I have no fkn idea wat could be causing it? The smell is not ur average sewer gas smell, it’s almost like rotten food, spoiled milk and a touch of ass.

Could it be that the rubber p trap is causing the smell? One of my first thoughts was it’s the wooden vanity but when I pulled the drawers and took them out, they had 0 smell.

No traces of mold anywhere under the vanity.
