i’m going to starved rock with my boyfriend next week and was wondering what are some hiking necessities that you would recommend someone bringing for a day hike?
It’s both our first time there , and my first time hiking a national park trail. So i just want to make sure we are completely prepared for the day since I’m assuming we will be spending a whole day there.
All suggestions and hike advice for this trail are greatly appreciated!!🤗

-also we are planning on staying in an airbnb so we aren’t doing any camping outdoors or anything. So i just want more advice on things I should bring to be prepared for a day of hiking.

i’m getting a new board for my bf and it’s the anti hero x supreme collab where there is a design on both the top and bottom, so i was thinking of getting clear grip tape for him. But ive seen online that most people aren’t really into it, and ive discreetly asked his thoughts on clear grip tape and he’s said that its not as good as regular grip tape. So i was hoping i could hear from more people about what they think, and if there was any specific brand of clear grip tape that is just as good as regular grip or if i should just get him regular grip tape instead😅😅

my boyfriend is a skater, a very hesh kind of guy, and i was wondering what would be a cool gift for his birthday that revolves around that kind of subject. He likes supreme, anti-hero, spitfire, and some others that I can’t remember the names of. if i could get any suggestions, whether it’s clothing related or objects then that would be sooo great. i have a few ideas already but just needed a little guidance 😅

How is the scene here for people who are also into screamo, hardcore, post-punk, and emo music? I am moving down here in the fall for school and was hoping to see if there were any good local bands in those genres or if there is any scene/community for people interested in this?
