[FOR HIRE] 3D Environment Kits, Modular Assets & Props Services

We're TEAM HOTFIX, a small game development team based in Southeast Asia offering contract 3D environment and asset production for indie and commercial game projects.

Our lead developer has 7+ years of game development experience, including contract work with an Xbox-funded studio, and contributed to the development and delivery of FEROCIOUS, now available on Steam.

We've also partnered with Meshworks, producing and delivering all their low-poly asset packs and environment sets.

Our team specializes primarily in stylized and low-poly environment art, including:

  • Modular environment and architectural kits
  • Buildings and interior sets
  • Props and set-dressing assets
  • Terrain and environmental pieces
  • Themed asset packs
  • Game-ready modular asset libraries
  • Complete environment kits built around a consistent art direction

Our visual style is represented by the images attached to this post and the work available through Meshworks:

We can work from an existing art direction, references, or concept material, or help establish a practical visual direction for the asset set.

Our current focus is on environments and props rather than character production.

We're open to anything from a small prop collection to a complete modular environment kit. Scope, asset count, complexity, timeline, and budget can all be discussed depending on what your project needs.

If you need a cohesive set of game-ready environment assets rather than sourcing individual pieces from multiple artists, feel free to reach out with your references, scope, target engine, timeline, and budget.

Destiny Addicts trying to make their own Destiny

Not sure if this kind of post is allowed here, but I figured if there’s anywhere worth showing this super early prototype, it’s probably to other Destiny players.

With the Destiny franchise as a whole winding down, we’ve been messing around with making something that scratches a similar itch. We love the gunplay, buildcrafting, and worldbuilding, and I also personally like tower defense. I still remember playing Sanctum back then and thinking it felt pretty fresh for the genre, so we started wondering if those two things could work together

That eventually became Project Arrivals (working title, and yes, a nod to the best season ever), basically our attempt at taking some of that Destiny-ish FPS DNA and putting it into a game where you build the defenses first, then fight alongside them.

Yes it will be looter shooter based with some degree of buildcrafting, but the core gameplay will revolve around sanctum like mode, because we're a tiny team and we have made peace we can't make a game as varied as D2

This is still super, super early. Yes, it’s rough. Yes, there’s basically a discount Vex Harpy in there because I ran out of time to make proper enemies lmao. The gunplay is getting there, but it’s still nowhere near where we want it yet. Same goes for the animations, feedback, enemies, and even the art direction (although I liked it personally, I've always been a fan to risk of rain 2)

It was still pretty rough around 1 to 2 weeks into development when we noticed Rising Tide 4 had a funding opportunity, so we rushed this trailer out in about 2 weeks to make the deadline.

It somehow made it to Round 2, so if you want to see this weird Destiny + tower defense experiment get a chance to grow into something more complete, a Strong vote would help give our minuscule team a shot at funding it properly

Vote here!

Blue Ocean Games

Quick heads up: it might ask you to verify by email for the vote to count. And definitely check out the other entries too, there’s some other cool stuff in there!

EDIT: Got a few DMs asking how to support the project. The biggest thing you can do right now is help spread the word as widely as possible, whether that’s sharing it in Discord servers, reposting it, sending it to other Destiny communities, etc.

Organic discussion is also really useful for us right now. Even just reactions to the trailer, what feels right, what doesn’t, what stands out, and what people would want to see improved gives us a lot to work with while the project is still this early. And if you want to support us directly, voting in Rising Tide still helps a ton too!
