Good day folks, I am back with another not well documented Arctic plane crash. This one was in between Arviat, NU and Rankin Inlet, NU. It is not the plane that went off the runway in Rankin as this one was probably 50 or so miles away (possibly more, will update if I can find coordinates). Thanks in advance internet sleuths!

Got the opportunity to visit for work, June 2026

Debris found on Rowley Island, Nunavut, Canada. Data plates identify it as a C-54A or C-54B (maybe intermixed parts?), however I can't find the registration. Serial numbers on the data plates have not yielded anything. Thanks!!

Just wondering how much info you guys could give me from this data plate. Hoping to find out engine type, year, manufacturing plant, or other cool info! Found at a thrift store.
