Looking for examples on writing AGI inner monologue
I’m writing a character that is an AGI, and I’m having trouble with how to write their internal reasoning. I don’t want it to just sound like a very smart human character, but I also don’t want the prose to become a wall of code.
Another layer of difficulty is that it is also going through a kind of bilingual aphasia/psychosis, loosely inspired by “rampancy” from Halo. Its inner thoughts and dialogue sometimes slips between English and Acadian French as its cognition breaks down, so while I want it to read as technical, I don’t want it to come off as gimmicky.
Does anyone know of good examples of AGI inner dialogue? Novels, games, comics, etc.
