Decades ago there was Gamers Conclave by the old WinnDixie now Altitude/Crunch fitness. Google isn’t finding me anything. Looking for a card shop that buys, sells, and trades. Anything like that around here?
Does getting an autograph on a non autographed card (I.e. base, insert, parallel) add as much value to the card as if it was autoed through Topps? I ask because we have a neighbor who is a big time MLB prospect, probably will get called up in the next few months. My young son runs to his house whenever he is in town with some new thing for him to sign. So we have have ~15 cards, balls, hats, etc signed by this guy. My son also wants to start collecting more cards and asked if he could sell one or two items to help fund his collection. What would be the next steps here- get the signatures authenticated by some service?
I'm new to the baseball bat world. My 7 yr old just made allstars and I told him I'd get him a new bat as a prize. He doesn't have huge swing speed/power, just a very consistent contact hitter while being small and fast. I'm looking at something likely 26" and drop 10 or 11. I keep coming across USSSA which I understand to be hotter than USA bats. Where does JBB fall into that picture?
ETA: just confirmed with coach that USSSA bats are allowed in all stars and all the travel ball tournaments around here
ETAA: thanks for all the info. Found a 2025 Hype Fire JBB 26/16 at Dicks for $199 so I went with that. Hopefully this lasts him a couple years
