Bonneville SE Suspension

Hi Gang,

I'm thinking of getting some new springs for the Bonnie (Front and back probably, but rear first for sure). Hagon seem to be the ones to go for but there is only 1 option - the cheapest - available on their SE page at the moment as opposed to the wealth of styles and colours for the spoked bonnevilles.

Question - is the £147 model an actual upgrade to the OEM shocks or do I need to look elsewhere. Square-deals have the YSS shocks (in a much less cool colour) for example at £250, but they would not be so customised as the Hagons.

Any thoughts?

(Is the front worth doing..?)

Did a silly thing

Overtook a bunch of cars who I thought we're indicating to pass a cyclist. Didn't notice the right turn they were actually indicating for.

Watch out for the spring exuberance peeps. Well done them for their all round observation. Thanks moto-gods for keeping an eye on me.

Still buzzing... Not in the good way 🫨😵‍💫😵🥴

Hi all,

What does it say to you if a school puts a job ad up today that closes on Friday?

I'd say there are 5 other schools advirtising for the same or similar job in the region?

Internal Candidate, no chance?

Thanks :P

Hi all,

I'm not a real chemist but my PGCE was in chemistry a d I've been let loose on an A-level class for the first time and today we did the rates of reaction prac with a gas syringe. (Calc. Carbonate + HCl)

I calculated the volume of gas that should be produced and based the measurements for the practical on that only to have about half the gas measured which made things a bit rubbish. I was expecting about 100cm3 from the most concentrated acid but only got about 50 which meant that when we did the more dilute acids the syringes hardly moved

Is this the reality of school gas syringes or are ours a bit rubbish? I'm actually not that experienced with them so I'm just trying to analyse what went wrong

Thanks :)
