baby’s first christmas

ftm//
my daughter will be a little over 6 months old on christmas, i’m trying to look at things now and get some ideas for our family to get her but im stumped lol. what are some gifts we could recommend or get for her this year??
i know she won’t remember her first Christmas but we will. we’ve already agreed we do not want to go overboard or have our parents go crazy either.

nightmares

has anyone experienced nightmares after giving birth?
my baby is 2 months old and ever since i gave birth i’ve had the most vivid nightmares. not about anything happening to her but they’re so realistic. i wake up every night sweating and freaking out because of them.

always a problem

my husband and i moved into a house almost a year ago on a lane where all the houses are pretty close together. we are pretty good friends with everyone near us but this one family.
the parking situation has always been an issue from the get go with them. they do not tend to their property, it’s constantly overgrown and there is trash everywhere in their yard. you know, one of those houses you tell people definitely isn’t yours when you’re describing where you live. they have a dog who tends to come outside and rile our dogs up. if ours start barking my husband or i will go get them inside immediately because they are hound dogs and have loud barks. tonight our dogs were out and they let theirs out to which i heard them very clearly say they were “going to put a bullet in those dogs.” i would like to make it known that i at least heard them say this because if anything happens to the dogs it will get ugly up here and now i’m just anxious they’ll harm them. what would you do?

is this normal anxiety?

i have an almost 3 week old, she’s breastfed but the doctor did recommend giving her one bottle a day so she can get used to it if i didn’t plan on just exclusively breastfeeding. i will pump enough for her bottle and have my husband feed her before we put her down for bed. this might sound selfish but i hate that it’s not me feeding her, i sit there anxious and almost upset. i know it’s still my breastmilk but i hate watching him feed her, i can’t help but stare to make sure she’s okay and he’s doing everything right.. it makes me feel guilty.
