Has anyone been diagnosed with LPR (silent Gerd). I've been on Ozempic for 6 months now and haven't really had any negative effects until recently. I'm waiting to get in to see an ENT, but I've read that this can be a side effect. Just curious. If you have, what's your experience?
I've been taking pills sublingually for 5 years. My E level is usually around 150. I tried patches, but my insurance wouldn't pay for me to take as many as I needed to keep my level up. I also had an orchi 3 years ago. I'm still passing as a guy easily.
My doctor usually doesn't prescribe injections. When I see her in a few weeks, I'm going to ask her again and if she says no, I'm going to stop or find a doctor that will.Pills just aren't working for me.
Will injections help me at all at this point?
I've been on Ozempic for 7 months. On 2 mg since January. I started at 181 pounds, at the doctor's office. I'm just under 5'10". Today when I got on the scale, I was actually shocked to see that I only weighed 149. Granted, I was basically naked. I don't think I've weighed this since 8th grade 60 years ago.
I don't want to stop, because my glucose levels now put me in the non diabetic category. But am I getting too skinny? I feel pretty good, with minimum side effects, but I have lost more muscle than I'd like. Should I lower my dose?
