I AM GOING MADDDD!! HELP PLEASE

I need help before this book slump wins. 😭

I'm at that point where I need to read something because when I'm not reading, my brain starts feeling weird. But every book I pick up ends up feeling boring, and I DNF it.

For reference, some of my all-time favorites are God of Fury (still obsessed) and the entire Legacy of Gods series by Rina Kent. I also loved fantasy like Sarah J. Maas, but right now I'm craving dark romance.

I want something that's addictive from page one, high tension, amazing chemistry, a memorable MMC, FMC with a backbone and a story that keeps me thinking about it when I'm not reading. I don't mind morally grey or completely unhinged characters as long as the book is actually engaging.

I've tried some L.J. Shen books, but they just didn't keep my attention the way Rina Kent's books do.

My only hard limits are cheating and sharing/reverse harem.

Please recommend the books that had you staying up until 3 a.m. because you physically couldn't put them down. I'm desperate. 😭

TEMPTING VENOM IS SOOO GOOD😭

I think Tempting Venom has officially ruined me.

I finished it and now I'm in the biggest book slump. Every book I try to start just doesn't hit the same because my mind is still completely stuck on this one.

And can we PLEASE talk about Preston? I LOVE him so much. He's easily become one of my favorite book boyfriends. I genuinely don't know how I'm supposed to move on.

Tempting Venom is now one of my all-time favorite reads, right up there with God of Fury.

Please send recommendations that have the same vibe obsessive MMC, insane chemistry, emotional tension, great banter, and a hero that's as unforgettable as Preston. I need something to get me out of this slump because nothing is working.

Is Fallen Rook a good introduction to L.J. Shen? Any other M/M books by her?

Hi everyone,

I've never read anything by L.J. Shen, but I recently came across Fallen Rook and found out it's M/M. I usually read M/M romance and have loved the M/M books by Rina Kent.

Does L.J. Shen have any other M/M books, or is Fallen Rook her only one?

Also, for those who have read it:

Is Fallen Rook good?

Is it a good place to start with L.J. Shen?

How does it compare to the M/M books by Rina Kent in terms of chemistry, angst, possessiveness, and emotional intensity?

!!!!! Off campus !!!!!

Unpopular opinion, but I don’t like the Off-Campus series that much. I think the book was better. I mean, books are usually better for me anyway ,that’s just my opinion. But the actress who played Hannah Wells didn’t really do the character justice. I didn’t imagine Hannah that way in my head. And not to demean anyone, because I liked how Amazon handled and focused on her character, but it still felt like she wasn’t fully into the role. Her acting just didn’t hit the way it should have. i could not connect with the depth of her character. I felt a lot more emotional depth from Hannah’s character while reading.
