Shopping for Superman - Available Now

Hey r/indiefilms just wanted to drop this trailer for our comic shop documentary, Shopping for Superman. We won 'Best Documentary' at San Diego Comic-Con, LA Film Fest, and the Another Hole in the Head Film Festival.

We've been online for awhile and you can see the film on Amazon, YouTube TV, Apple TV, and Google Play. We also have blu-ray available at linktr.ee/shop4supedoc (sadly only shipping in the US at the moment without a hefty shipping fee).

Would love to see what your takes might be!

My Grandmother Painted with Bob Ross

There was a documentary a couple of years ago that talked about other TV artists that Bob would collaborate with. For whatever reason, my grandmother Norma Poulos wasn't mentioned but at one time Bob worked alongside her and even commissioned her to do some paintings and show him her process. It was wild to see some of those works get the Bob treatment and then turned into some of his wonderful and peaceful pieces. (Not saying he took anything or implying what the documentary was stating, just that they worked together, briefly.)

If you'd care to see any of her work I've added some on a YouTube page and am putting them out to celebrate her and, well, the joy of painting in general. Her channel's called Paint with Norma on YouTube/IG/FB and it's wild to see how quickly artists could put out a landscape while the camera rolled.

Final Curtain (11-page one-shot)

A fun short comic posted here with permission of the writer and artists. It's not for sale and they're just giving it away with the hopes that people enjoy it. A nice homage to some of television's crankiest critics and most joyful entertainers. I don't want to give anything away but it's a touching and short story.

You can find more from the writer, Wes Eastin at www.WesEastin.com. The artists are: Thomas Tikkas (pencils/inks), Alex Zief (colorist), and Dave Lentz (lettering).
