We are being scammed

Hi everyone, I just wanted to vent a bit about the software situation—or rather, the lack of support—from Mahindra for BE 6 and XEV 9e owners.

It’s been over a year since I bought mine, and honestly, I love the car. But what’s really frustrating is that Mahindra still hasn’t delivered several of the features they advertised at launch.

What makes it even worse is that they’re launching newer features for 9S owners while existing BE 6 and XEV 9e owners are still waiting for features that were originally promised to us.

To add insult to injury, those of us who’ve crossed the 12-month mark now have to renew our ME4U subscription—and at full price. It’s hard to justify paying again when the software experience still feels incomplete.

Does anyone else feel the same way, or has Mahindra shared any roadmap for when existing owners can expect these promised updates?

ADVICE FOR BE6 OWNERS/OPERATORS

Okay, so I am a XEV9e owner and was at the workshop for general service. Thats where I met an official Mahindra QC official who was working on some car. We got to talking and he told me something very interesting. A lot us give our vehicles for washing to the daily car wash guys. What inadvertently happens is when they raise the wipers after they are done to dry the windshield, the wipers touch the front bonnet and after repeated cycles you will notice a lot of be6 cars have chipped paint near the front wiper on the bonnet.

To solve this issue you need to activate the "service mode". What that does is, it brings the wipers to top-dead centre and locks them in place, allowing you to raise the wipers without damaging the paint on the bonnet.

To activate "service mode" you need to turn the vehicle off and within 3 seconds of doing so, you need to activate the wipers (push the wiper stack up/in drizzle mode). This will keep the vehicle in service mode until you start the vehicle again.

Really hope this advice helps because from what he told me a lot of dealers don't inform the customer about small things like this. If you know about this service mode, please do enlighten us with more tips and tricks to take our ownership to the next level.

Edit1: grammar error
