Clawson Chamber of Commerce Golf Outing!

Mods, if not allowed my apologies.

The Clawson Chamber of Commerce is hosting their annual golf outing on Monday July 27 at Glen Oaks golf course in Farmington Hills. There are spots for single golfers, foursomes and we have a limited number of sponsorships still available.

Come out for a great day of golf while supporting the non-profit that the Clawson Chamber is and maybe win some fun prizes!

IGNORE THE DATE ON THE PHOTO THAT SAYS 2025. The website person is fixing that. 😂

Finally got a Whole Foods bag (Troy, Michigan)

I keep seeing posts on here making me jealous and these WF bags go in less than 5 minutes. I’m finally getting notifications and got a prepared foods bag for $10.

Everything had a sell by date of today and 50% off stickers, so total retail would’ve been $15 so not a huge savings but I’ve got some snacks! 2 packs chicken tenders, 2 packs buffalo wings and sesame roasted tofu

Does that seem high?

Have a 21’ round, 10K gallon above ground pool that was installed in 2020. Been doing all of my own maintenance and following Trouble Free Pool method. Last spring before opening I replaced the sand and thought everything was fine.

Last summer I was dealing with more algae but after that got cleared up I noticed that I kept getting sediment in the bottom of the pool, and suspected it was a little bit of sand. Plus with backwashing I was seeing some sand coming out where I drain the backwash water out.

So now that opening season is upon us, trying to decide if I just spend the money to take the sand filter to the pool store and have them swap it out and check for any broken laterals that may need replacing, or do I just do it myself again and still swap the sand out because there was such an ongoing algae battle last year and then if there are any broken parts, take those in.

I just don’t want to take a chance with the current sand/situation but that’s a lot of money to spend, plus they’ll have it for 1-2 weeks, but what if it’s fine and all they do is swap the sand? That’s expensive sand!
