Multiple Train Cancellations to the Airshow

Multiple Train Cancellations to the Airshow

If you're planning to visit Eastbourne for the Airshow, don't bother taking the train as there are multiple cancellations today (probably until the whole of next week).

The only way from London is via Brighton, but there are no direct trains because of a "landslide" today.

Trains only go up Polegate, then you'll have to get a bus replacement to Eastbourne.

This goes either way so expect heavy queues in Polegate.

With the landslide plus the derailment the other day, the train also needs travel at less than 20mph to be "safe" - your usual 20min long journey will now take more than an hour.

There's are no air-conditioning on both bus and trains either, to comfort you during this grueling journey.

It would be much better and more comfortable to take an x bus instead.

Southern railway will also try to get your money and hook you into buying tickets by posting fake "dalayed" schedules on the boards - but don't be fooled!

In total, we ended up waiting 1.5hrs in Brighton for a train to show + 1.2hrs train journey + 20min bus ride.

Be sure to keep your tickets and claim for delay compensation of 100% for more tha 60min delays.

Stay safe everyone!

What percentages do you split your money into this 2026-2027 and the reasons behind it?

I'm curious to know how you manage your wealth/funds in 2026-2027, and what are your reasons behind it?

Let me start - but i'd love to hear your comments on it:

Target to hold zero USD in cash.

30% - into long term 2-5yr fixed cash ISA

reason: in case the predicted crash of 2027 happens. Mostly FOMO on my part (and also the Buffet indicator).

35% - into Flexible Cash ISA

reason: rainy day saver.

35% - Stocks and Shares ISA

breakdown:

5% S&P 500 (lower split re:Trump)

5% FTSE 100

5% Euro Ex UK

5% Asia Markets

6% Gold/Silver/Platinum/Crypto

2% High Dividend

7% Loose Bets/Day Trade/Spare Cash

How legal is it to manage a leverage share that does not track the stock?

How legal is it to manage a leverage share that does not track the stock?

Looking at the graphs, you could mistake the actual Nasdaq stock to be the one which is leveraged 3x since the swings seem larger.

Are there any UK laws protecting investors from such shady management of funds? e.g. if you advertise 3x leverage, then the actual graph should track 3x to a certain percentage of error.

3HNX Halts Trading and doesn't track SKHY just as the stock started going up?

3HNX Halts Trading and doesn't track SKHY just as the stock started soaring - is this even legal?

I understand that SKHY in USD and 3HNX is in GBP and they wouldn't track exactly the same, but one being in double digit green while the other is in red is just too much.

I feel like I'm being scammed.

I bought these shares from Trading 212, but based from your experience, how reliable is this platform and "Leveraged Shares" on the LSE?

Please help me understand what's going on.
