What does a healthy productive calendar look like?

I’m newer to this community and saw someone post a really productive week schedule. Something like 7-8 up and ready 8-5 work 5-8 time with family 8-9 workout 9-10 window 10pm bedtime. People were commenting it’s a recipe for exhaustion. If this isn’t it - what does a healthy productive week look like?

Selling a complex software procurement perspective

I often rely on support to get me through a lot of q*a on the software and implementation because our software is so complex. I understand the basics and high level, from a procurement perspective is this the norm? Sales people are the (sometimes) pretty faces bringing in the right people and guiding the sales cycle, but that’s it. I feel like such an idiot sometimes, I learn a bit every day, curious if anyone has perspective from the buyer into what this looks like.

Short term or month to month home rental

Hi!

Where is the best place to look for short term or month to month rentals in London? We are stand up citizens in a bit of a pickle, not purchasing until the new year.

Thank you

For those who self source

Tech sales self sourcing, do you spray and pray or write custom messages?

I’m always stuck between going very detailed and going very wide. My brain doesn’t work in both capacities. I either have to do it one way all the time or the other way all the time and so far changing things up constantly has not yielded me the results I want. I also hear mixed approaches from top performers.

I often think that it doesn’t matter how specific the outreach is as long as you are highlighting what you do if they are going to take a meeting it doesn’t matter how specific you’re outreach is, if they need it they need it, if they don’t they don’t and highly tailored messaging is kind of a waste of time.

For context I’m in small to midmarket.

My numbers aren’t that low and I feel so awful. What do I do?

I want to take this blood work to my doctor for an iron infusion. I’m scared they will call me crazy or ignore me. I see people on this sub with much worse numbers, but I am so exhausted and overwhelmed and I really believe it’s due to low iron.

This bloodwork was taken at my naturopath, I took it to a dietician who said it wasn’t super bad. I felt awful like fuck, this isn’t what’s happening.

I’m so overwhelmed I just want to cry, because I feel Iike no one will take me seriously, and I don’t know what to do or say to change that.

I’ve been supplementing for 2 weeks and haven’t noticed much change. I early it’s early days but I don’t have the time or energy to wait and see if this works. It’s been so long and mentally im falling apart.

  1. Does anyone have labs that look like this and still feel awful? (Thinning hair, can’t exercise, 8 cups coffee per day on top of adhd meds,
    Work suffering)
  2. How do you get someone to take you seriously?

Performance coaching?

Full sales cycle reps with 5+ year experience, have you had a performance coach in your career? Pros/cons? Was it worth it?

ISO Type-A detail oriented, bossy wedding planner

I’m looking for someone highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking the lead when needed. Not someone who says “whatever you want,” but someone who can keep us on track, manage vendors, catch things we haven’t thought of, and tell us when we’re about to make a mistake.

If you’ve worked with a planner who was organized, assertive and helped make the process easier, I’d love to hear your recos!

What do you do in the down swing?

Q1 just wrapped it was a bust, came off of a hot year. Trying to not let this get to my head and stay the course, typically what I I’ll follow is over preparing, I’m trying to stay confident in my approach so I don’t waste time I need to keep my pipeline full and keep prospecting rather than over focus on the opps I have.

How do you handle these moments? Feels shitty to feel incompetent. I have so many things I still need to do and learn and feel like I don’t have the time to do it all.

Any help, feedback from tenured reps is appreciated.

How do you handle losing to a competitor when you’re in the top of the selection? Like top 2, not early days, we’re talking end stage. I haven’t heard this topic broached much and I’m curious how others in tech sales handle it.

My ego says “you don’t like me? I don’t like you”. My bank account says “beg, on your knees”.

Realistically I take a final stab in a final convo if they’re willing, but 95% of the time I don’t want to have the conversation and feel it doesn’t do anything, just hurts me more putting more energy into something that is a no.
