Label preservation?

I am working on restoring a 1925 Gibson L3. I have removed the back to fix/repair a body length crack. The label on the inside is mostly in tact but is loose. Has anyone ever covered the label with lacquer or is there a way to adhere the label without ruining it?

“Panama Red”

The final form of my 2013 MIM Tele standard that I’ve dubbed “Panama Red.” I swapped out the neck pickup for a Gibson mini hum, swapped the black for a tort guard, and added a bigsby/vibramate b5/v5. I’m diggin it.

This is “Panama Red” my 2013 Tele standard. (Left to right before and after) Popped a mini hum in the neck along with a tort guard. Now all that’s left is to add a Bigsby!

Growing up I remember reading guitar magazines and seeing old photos of Keith Richards and Mick Taylor with their 59 burst. I always loved the look of the Bigsby on a Les Paul! Popped one on mine recently.
