keep a 14 yr old bike ? or buy a new bike ?

I have a 14 year old honda unicorn dazzler bike. It's running well. I can get 7-8k for exchange.

I need to re-register it next year as it would be 15 years in 2027.

Average mileage is like 30-35kmpl in city and suburbs.

Tyres needs to be updated - cost is like 3.6k for both tyres. ASC asked to change the carburettor in future - not immediate. There's re-registration cost as well next year. Last service cost was like 2k.

Experiencing cold starts sometimes. It doesn't have a kick start - so need to rely on the battery.

I went to various showrooms to enquire about a new bike / scooty.

Honda shine / TVS raider / CB unicorn / Pulsar 125 - all costs like 1.2-1.3L minimum. Aether costs like 1.6L minimum. Non rto electric scooty costs like 40k starting.

My weekly run is like 100km minimum - groceries, dropping kids to school, meeting with friends.

What should be the ideal scenario for me -

1.Continue using the same bike. (need to spend some money for maintenance immediately)

  1. Get another petrol bike. (concerns over ethanol)

  2. Get an ather. I don't have a service center nearby. But one might open in future. (Have concerns over availability of battery and replacements after 7-8 years)

Please provide insights with good reason. Thank you. Feel free to ask any questions.

I don't think this was as popular as the cheetos freebies back then...

Does anyone remember or have these ?

I lost couple of puzzle pieces as well :(
