I recently purchased a G70, and right off the bat I noticed the alignment to be slightly off.
It got worse and I took it in around after ~250mi for it to be looked at. The service technicians figured that the alignment was indeed off and corrected it.
However, having further driven it seemed like there was still something off and the car would veer left when the steering angle was straight.
This time, I took it in (~450mi) they said the tyre pressures were all over the place and they even road tested it after fixing it and deemed it be to driving fine. I drove it off the service center and about 10 mins out when I hit the highway on the way to work I noticed the same alignment issue when driving at highway speeds.
I am confused as to what the issue might be here, the car is practically brand new and I haven’t even driven long distances except the 3 visits to the dealerships which were 60mi round trips.
Anybody experience something similar? Could something be bent in the suspension, that is causing this?
I’ve sent the service center another message to document that I still face this issue. I do not want to go in again, it takes up a lot of time just driving there and back. So I’m going to ask them to use the service valet this time.
Traded in the GV70 for a 2026 3.3T Prestige G70 in Vatna Gray.
Ngl, the color is stunning! Genesis luxury is unmatched.
Was in the market for a compact sports sedan and a great opportunity came by.
How happy are folks here with their purchase of this beauty?
Has anybody received a good offer on a buy back?
Mine is a 2025 GV70 Leased 2.5T Prestige.
Around ~20k miles and well maintained with no major damage.
Is there any downside of me having them assess and quote me a number here?
What should I be looking at in terms of an offer here?
Note: This is a lease and around 70% of the lease is paid off.
