At level 12 I trying to farm D4 Befallen with a modestly twinked loadout (+5 serpent’s fang, overall decently geared but no Sky drops as s War Sham Wizard and was hating life. My dps was crap, couldn’t heal worth anything, got steamrolled every time I had a bad pull.

Switched to Ber Rog Cleric and at level 10 with the exact same gear I was stomping everything, even level 20+ red cons. Died a few times on bad pulls but by 18/19 I had full cleared the entire dungeon.

My big takeaway is that cleric is the go to for heals at level 10 until other classes start to get HoT spells etc., and that DPS is king.

What other tips and tricks do you all have? I know that AoE mez is also easy mode, but what else is good?

Also which dungeons are best, or is it just a matter of personal preference?

How do you level up your Slayer AA levels? Not sure if my search results were ambiguous or if I’m just not understanding. Is it based on total number of “points” earned, such as 5 points for killing 100 kobolds until you reach like 110 points or do you have to clear each subcategory such as A Force of Nature and Progressive?

To clarify, this is not a “Tier 4 too hard, plz nerf,” post - I clear tier 4 easily by simply using the correct build. What I’m saying is that having mobs run at Mach Jesus even while snared gives significant diminishing returns on fun. My quick fix suggestion would be to have snare style spells eliminate all difficulty based run speed calculations and have mobs run at normal speed. Otherwise our only option is to just paladin face tank everything which admittedly does get kinda boring over time.

I keep getting tons of commands that do not work on Google and Google AI. Does anybody have one that actually works here? My stupid enchanter pet apparently learned root at some point, and the only purpose that served is to get it killed.

Run Berserker/Rogue till level 10. I’m two shotting yellow cons when the stars line up. Currently running Offensive stance and Unyielding (health regen) invocation. Add Monk at level 10 if you want to double down on the honeybadgerism. Probably can’t solo Cazic Thule though.

The first few times you kill something a menu pops up but eventually no more menu. Is it in one of the game settings or options somewhere?

When you upgrade Bard songs like heals, slows or haste does it work like you’d expect and actually increase the amount of heals/slows/haste or does it just “help” you reach the “cap” quicker? Like would a 50% bard slow eventually become a 60% bard slow or is it still a 50% bard slow but in cursive?

I tried Google but it died in my arms. How do you find/reach this guy? I’m assuming there is an upstairs or downstairs that I need to somehow click teleport to but it’s not obvious and I’m struggling. Map is no help, find just says I dunno bra.

Just out of curiosity, was wondering if it will be possible to play with any other person in the world or if we’re stuck on shards like it’s 1996? This matters because I used to run into World of Warcraft players in real life, get excited but then we’d realize they’re on server 34 and I’m on 57. I mean it is what it is I guess but I’m hoping we can break free from last century’s shackles. Either way it’s not a dealbreaker but what if…

Suppose you have a lvl 50 shadow knight and want to earn the most AAXP possible leveling a bard and ranger to 50. Would you get the same amount of AAXP leveling them both at the same time as you would leveling one and then the other?

Apologies but Google only gives somewhat ambiguous information on how to run vanilla Everquest on steam deck. I’ve never tried to install a non-steam deck game before so I’m a 100% n00b at this.

I wonder how viable it would be to combine these three in EQ Legends? I remember there was a ranger in Afterlife Guild (one of the most elite guilds in old school EQ) who had well over 100 AAXP levels while everyone else in this gathering of elite players only had about 20-30. Then there was a bard on our Morell-Thule server who was probably one of the most amazing players I’d ever seen in person - dude was practically invincible. And then necro was just kinda broken in general, able to solo effectively in zones where my Shaman struggled with trash mobs.

I’m wondering if combining these three would make something wonderful? My primary goal is to collect a mountain of AAXP levels as quickly as possible moreso than pushing the most difficult content. Would any other trio get the job done better than this? Or are most combos just kinda overall good in general? (Unless of course you tried really hard to make a derp trio lol)
