Last night I couldn't get comfortable in bed, wasn't tossing or turning really, just on the struggle to get comfortable. Eventually I went to the bathroom and pulled everything down, and the incision was actively bleeding, and a lot of blood at that. Woke the wife up and went to the ER.

Turns out I had a hematoma at the incision site that had been collecting blood, and finally burst through.

0/10 experience, do not recommend it.

Had my snip on Friday. Yesterday was by far the worst day so far, between pain and swelling. I was taking the pills I was prescribed and that helped a bunch. Was still icing myself too. Woke up today and the pain is still there, probably a .5 while resting but a 2 in certain positions or movements. Swelling seems to have gone down. I'm keeping gauze and antibacterial ointment on the site, and when I go to change it there is a little discharge on the gauze.

Just really want the tenderness to go away, but all I can do is wait and keep the area clean and iced.

Procedure is scheduled for 12:30 CST. Definitely feeling nervous, but also trying to not psych myself out.
